Everything was delicious! I like how colorful it is, the mariachi band statues outside, and the atmosphere. It took a while to be greeted, and the drink took a while to come out. The chips and salsa were tasty and our server topped them off...as soon as they got low. We got the Mexican Sampler (tasty), chicken chimichanga, and the burrito mexicano. All very tasty. The proteins were seasoned very nicely and they were nice a moist. Oh, and the margarita was very nice!More

Was invited to Chapala by a regular for dinner earlier this week. Our server was welcoming, friendly and efficient. I really enjoyed the tacos al pastor. My wife got one of the enchilada plates. The food was well prepared, although delivery was somewhat slow. The...star of the meal was the margarita. One of the better ones in town. The dining room was open, and all Covid protections were in place. Looking forward to another visit. The menu had lots of interesting options. One note: the menu is only available by QR code, so someone in the party needs to have a scanner installed on their phone (another Covid PIA). All in all, good food at reasonable prices.More

I enjoyed my lunch here with friends. Great lunch menu. I got the speedy Gonzalez platter (taco enchilada and beans or rice). Chips and salsa complimentary and yummy. Pepsi products and great service too.

The food was average and service was slow!It took them about 10+ min just to come and take our drink order. Once we placed the order it took awhile to get the food. When they brought the food, my husband, got a skillet. They brought...the skillet but not the sides. He thought maybe he saw the menu wrong and was expecting Tortilla shells, cheese, lettuce, etc. So he stated to eat. 10 min later and almost half the skillet gone they brought the side items out. We would have asked our waitress but she was noone to be found or any other wait staff. He did enjoy his food, but I thought it was ok. We saw our waitress one other time when she brought the check. We got at the restuarant at 11:10am abd didn't leave until 12:47pm. Way too long for food and service. I won't go back.More

It was very good, seated promptly, drinks brought promptly.molcajete really good. But it is not cheap, good things seldom are. Handicap access and facilities just so so. Do think any one would enjoy the food, also the have a wide selection.

The very large group we were with had intended to eat at a different place they had chosen That restaurant did not follow through with accommodations for the large group. I suggested Chalala's. I called ahead to verify with them since we had such a...group. They were great. They happily welcomed us on short notice. They did a great job on service. The food was very good. I heard several members in our party compliment the food and service. Moral of the story...go here first.More
