Great Italian food at reasonable rates. Authentic decor with good ambiance. They can easily seat large groups which is nice if you have a big party. Live the bread and olive oil with spices.

My husband & I ate here on a Wednesday night about 7 pm. We were welcomed at the door & seated immediately. Our server, Zach, provided quick and excellent service. We enjoyed the loaves of bread and olive oil. My husband ordered the Baked Ziti & I ordered Eggplant Parmigiani. Both were delivered so quickly that we were surprised. This... More
Zio's is my preference for Italian cuisine. The food is fresh and hot at your table. The dining area and restaurant is clean. A chef oversees many of the experience from start to finish; you can tell this by watching him right from your very seat. It has an open kitchen concept and brick oven experience. The waitress needed a... More
We like to take family and I also have entertained clients here as well. Good food and service. Can get a little noisy when it's really busy prime times.
I had not been to Zio's in years. We recently had occasion to go and throughly enjoyed it! We were thrilled with the variety of menu selections and the entrees delivered to the table I. A speedy courteous manner were fabulous. The bruschetta appetizer is a wonderful light fresh treat!
Just went here to celebrate a birthday in the family. Temp inside was 85 degrees. Ok, yes it is July in KC and outside temp is approaching 100 degrees. Waitress advised A/C was worked on a few days earlier and supposed to be fixed. She was sweating, not her fault. The food that followed though was as disappointing as the... More
Really not sure how this place is still in business. Outdated interior showing obvious signs of wear. Plain and uninteresting menu, tough and dry chicken , when I ordered a bottle of wine the waitress apologized that she had to go out to her car to get her Corkscrew and would be right back. We wereone of only 3 tables... More
We have eaten here a number of times and I have always had a good meal. Last time I ate here was with a group and they did a really good job of taking care of us. We all ordered something different and they did not have a problem keeping up with our orders or splitting up our checks.
Excellent food. Lots of variety in choices, but not your average italian food. Very flavorful. Love the bread and oil appetizer. Only issue was waitress did not keep water glasses full, which is one of my pet peeves!
