We went here at the request of our 12 yo daughter who was craving ramen. Small restaurant but all three of our meals were good. They did a small change to one of the dishes as we needed a vegan meal. Not many options for...Gluten-Free, Vegan or Vegetarian as all but one dish had some type of meat that they couldn't prepare meatless. Nonetheless, we enjoyed all of our entrees as well as the Bang Bang shrimp small plate to share.More

My second visit. Had the Tonkostu Classic and it was really good. Also Tempura Cauliflower. I wish we had this restaurant in my hometown!

This was good ramen. Just wish they had different size options as the bowl was huge! Food came out cery quickly.

Came here for lunch and it was unassuming and excellent. Definitely a hidden gem in Olathe. My hubby and I had the bang bang shrimp to start. These were large shrimp in a tangy sauce and in a light tempura batter. The food came out...super fast. I ordered the classic, that I won’t attempt to spell. It had a rich, creamy slow simmered broth with scallions, bean sprouts, pork, and of course the noodles. It was topped with a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg that had a hint of soy. My hubby got the beef sukiyaki rice bowl, with sliced ribeye, onions and scallions which he devoured. He was amazed at how good the food was. We’ve moved all over and are so happy to once again find a fresh Asian restaurant. The servers were sweet; the restaurant was clean, and nothing was greasy. Great job guys!More

I was visiting KC and this was the place my daughter wanted to be sure to visit while was here. She has the spicy miso with extra chili paste and I had coconut curry ramen. Appetizer was tempura cauliflower. Everything was delicious! I wish we...had a restaurant just like this in my hometown, Sarasota.More

Excellent ramen, fresh noodles, silky broth. The rice bowl was also great with a ton of chashu. Service was friendly and efficient. Not a lot of seating but the wait was not too bad for dinner. Plenty of parking.

This was my first visit to Aoyama Ramen. It's not particularly close to me, so I'm not sure if I'll go back, though I certainly would if I was in the area at mealtime. My wife had the Bang Bang Shrimp, which she liked. I...had the Tonkostu Classic and thought it was very good. It was a very generous serving and I didn't go away hungry. Service was good, though this place really hadn't caught on when we visited and there were plenty of empty tables. Photos are attached. Thanks for reading. Smells great when you walk in, and continues from there. We had the #1 (don’t remember the name) and the spicy version of #1, plus an edamame appetizer. All were great. The spicy one was spicier than expected. The people next to us had the...coconut curry and raved about it. Service was prompt and friendly. Will be going back soon!More
