The 2 meat platter with 2 sides and Texas toast was a big meal. The brisket and pulled pork were delicious, and came without sauce. The condiment bar had about 5 sauces to choose from.
The young staff were helpful and friendly, there was plenty of seating available at 5 pm on a Tuesday but it filled up quick.
What it lacks in chain restaurant decor it makes up for in homemade flavor. I’ll go back the next time I’m in town.

The best ribs I've had in a very long time & very reasonably priced! We ordered a full rack to share & 2 extra sides & extra Texas toast, water to drink - all for $33. Couldn't even eat it all - took home 4 ribs. Definitely worth the stop.

Ok, it's during COVID-19, but we are traveling thru the state, so we needed some food for dinner. We stayed at Hampton Inn and Woodies was right across the street.
We split a full rack of ribs with spicy beans and coleslaw. The ribs fell off the bone and both sauces they sent with us were delicious.
The friendly owner waited on us...a very nice touch. The gal behind the counter was also friendly. We couldn't eat all of the ribs....tomorrows lunch.

I've been going here for years about monthly for ribs. Recently went thru the drive thru and ordered my usual full slab of ribs. When I got home I discovered the style of ribs had changed and they were the toughest ribs I have ever tried to eat not to mention it was mostly fat! I called the next day to complain and the 'manager' I spoke with basically told me "you get what you get"! UNREAL!!!! I spent almost $30 for ribs I couldn't eat and had to throw out!! They just lost a regular customer! DONT GO HERE!!

Spicy Beans & Brisket! Mmmm, amazing!
We live in Denver, Colorado and when we visit my family, we HAVE to have Woodies BBQ and even take it back to Denver with us. The smoke on the Brisket is perfect and paired with the “Carolina” golden sauce is fantastic. There’s even a member on my husband’s side that has us bring back BBQ to them as well. Great stuff!

We had stackers to take out. The portions were huge for lunch and very good. Both types of beans were delicious and the meats were perfectly cooked.
When we picked up the order the register person clearly did not know what he was doing. It took way too long to get the order and they could use some training.

Went inside as I’d never been. Got a To Go Order. Young staff, but very polite and professional. All of them thanked me.
Went back to hotel room, and the food was excellent. Will definitely go back.

Love the BBQ at Woodies! There is a large selection of choices and the quality of the food is excellent. The servings are quite large, and you get your moneys worth.

Usually don’t eat BarBQ on trips. We are from the BarBQ capital of the world! But it was close and other choices were limited, so we went to Woodie’s. It was good, reasonable price, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

We drive from Wichita 2 0r 3 times a month to get the BBQ. Not sure what happened today but it was not good. Some of the french fries were burnt, the baked beans on one dinner were soupy and on the other dinner they were stuck together without sauce. The bread and BBQ were dry. I don't think we will be going back anytime soon.

The ribs were outstanding. Fall off the bone tender! Juicy. Meaty. Excellent. I called ahead for carryout and it was ready when i got there. Very good prices also!

Im my humble opinion the sides make or break a BBQ place. I ordered the ribs and the pork. They were perfectly adequate; however, the sides were something else. Watery flavorless mac & cheese and potato salad that came right out of tub at Costco. I will admit the beans were 'ok.' But the service - two teenagers behind the counter that clearly hate their job. And oh - despite an ordinance requiring face covering, the only one wearing one was me.

Beans spicy or smoked are awesome. All the meats I have tried have been great. Wish they made their own sauce. But they do have KC masterpiece and a couple others. Very delicious barbecue.
