Delicious Chinese Food

We treated our large family to dinner here when we visited Manhattan for a family reunion. Everyone liked what they ordered, and we were able to push several tables together in the middle of the restaurant so we could all sit together. Good variety of spicy and non spicy food so everyone was happy!

Consistently good food

Chicken w/ snow peas had lots of fresh vegetables. Husband had seafood delight with a nice variety of seafood. Cooked well and served hot. Generously sized servings. Egg rolls are delicious.

We found this to be just ok. We ordered the lunch special and a side of fried rice. The fried rice and the egg roll that came with my meal were very good. The hot and spicy soup was ok, could have been a little hotter and needed a little more heat. Our tastes do run a little hotter/spicy. One of us had the Lemon Chicken and I had Suswhan Chicken. Both were satisfactory. Service was good and it is fine for a quick lunch.

Food is OK, price is nice

The food at this restaurant was ok, not the best Chinese I have ever had. The staff were really nice, there was lots of room, the area could be cleaned a bit better, (door handles, walls, bathroom counters, table areas, floors under tables), but generally it was fine.

Ate here for a late lunch with family. We were the only ones in the restaurant the whole time we were there. Ordering and receiving drinks was quick. But my soup came out only a couple minutes before the food. My dads food came first then 5 minutes later I got mine and it took another 15 for my mom to get hers. We were basically done eating when she got hers. They weren’t busy so I’m not sure why the food all came separately. The food was just okay the best part of the meal was the rice. They do give large portions though. I would come back for the lunch specials

The lunch specials were nicely priced and more than enough food! The shrimp lo mein sauce was good but the shrimp were very small - flavor OK but a little disappointed. The egg roll and crab Rangoon were freshly made and nice and hot. Would probably order the chicken next time.

I took my grandkids for a field trip and they of course were hungry. They all love Chinese food so we set out to find somewhere to eat. We came upon Chens. The food was good the price was very affordable.

Cheap but great Chinese

The meals are cheap but very large. They have great lunch specials. The hot and sour soup may be the best I've ever had. A large bowl of it is less than $5 and it'll feed you at least twice.

Suprisingly Good

I tried this place a few years ago, but was not impressed. Things have changed. I ordered take-out and delivery was fast. The food was great: sweet and sour shrimp that had a really crunchy crust; steamed dumplings that were quite tasty. I am not a big fan of fried rice, which is the standard in delivery. If you want steamed rice, be sure to request it. Even the sauces were great. This will be my go-to place in the future.

WORST CHINESE FOOD I EVER HAD!

Took friends to dinner while visiting in Manhattan, KS. Place pretty much empty at 4:30 PM on a Saturday. Two other couples came in after we did. The one hostess/waitress was noisy [loud] in cleaning other tables off gave us menus and asked what we wanted - no time to really look, then asked what we wanted to drink. When she came back with the water and iced teas she wanted to know again what we wanted. We ordered and when she brought the meals she had to ask again who got what! The Food - the Chicken looked and tasted like it had been frozen in a box for at least a year and was no presentation. The Pork and vegetables and a second pork dinner two other guests had were luke warm and massive veggies and little meat. The Fried Won Ton and the Fried Dumplings were again something out of a frozen box and thrown into a deep fryer. Before we were even done the waitress wants to know if we wanted boxes and presented the bill. Lots of training of staff and chef to prepare "Chinese" food and not thaw from a box - tasteless. Would NEVER return, nor will our friends that live in Manhattan!

Great authentic southern Chinese food if you are serious

Best General Tsao's Chicken in town. Also, don't miss the Crab Rangoon and Seafood Junbon FuChou Style. Check out the food photos I posted and you'll see how good they are.

The boys and i like this place. Never had a bad bite here. The Moo Goo Gai Pan is good. I also like the Sezchuan beef.

Great portions, good food, weird service

The food was better than most Chinese restaurants in Manhattan. The ambiance was ok, there were tons of flies flying around, we sat next to a window, which if we go back we would not. The server was very attentive when we first got there, when we were two of three customers in the restaurant, after more people starting coming, she seemed to be battling with the what looked like owners or managers to start orders. She brought us our check in one of the little holders that most resturants have with a credit card holder. We were done and put credit card in the holder and put it at the end of the table, after the server and two owners/managers walked by numerous time and we changed the position of the the holder numerous time and awkwardly staring at all of the servers and waiting for over 10 minutes, we ended up going up to the cash register to pay for out food. Also our lunch special was a dollar more than was posted on our lunch menus (which were the mailers that were just laminated).
