Good BBQ

Fairly decent BBQ. Love all the different sauce options out of the table. Sweet fries are good. It's a good little establishment.

Don't go to a chain when you have great local BBQ right here in Manhattan. Bud and Bobby Cox have been doing it for years. The best ribs in town and if you need some a little lighter, try one of their great salads with some smoked meat to top it off right!

Bud and Bobby do a nice job with their BBQ. The place is always clean. The staff friendly and Q is good. Meat is wood smoked. Not some electric gizmo. My only complaint is that i wish they'd bring back ham sandwiches. Best BBQ in Manhattan.

I wasn't interested in a meat based meal...and Cox Bros was close. I had a salad which was decent...AND had a lot of meat. Would have loved to have been in a meat-mood...it looked and smelled goooood

Least amount of food for the money that I have ever experienced at a bbq restaurant. Food was good. Service was good. Just wanted more for my money

Meats were Tinder. That's it. "I like to be able to eat BBQ with or without sauce. This place from the Chicken, Brisket, and pulled pork was bland. I personally am not a fan.

This restaurant used to be a favorite for our family, but in my opinion their meat (especially beef) has decreased in quality. My last two visits I haven't finished my sandwiches because of all the fat in the meat. Same story with the pulled pork. :-( The staff and facility is still very nice. We love to support local small... More

The first thing we noticed when we pulled in to our hotel was the great aroma of smoked meat in the air. Immediately after we checked in we walked over to Cox Bros. for lunch. The food was freshly prepared and hot. The sauces were great, as was the atmosphere. One of the best BBQ meals that I have eaten!... More

Cox Brothers BBQ has always been a favorite of mine and today's visit reinforced that belief. I had the Smokestack Special for just under $9 which included 2 sides and a drink. Awesome! I usually order a 2 meat platter with either turkey, pulled pork, or sausage. Worth the stop while in Manhattan.

This was right next to our hotel and we ordered food for a group. The brisket and blue salad was to die for and the macaroni and cheese was the perfect mix of creamy and spicy. They were very quick to get food ready for our group of 30.
