The portions of food were huge! Food was good not great but definately worth the stop. Place was very nice and the service was really good. Im not a spicey fan so menu items were limited for me so I cant fault the restaurant for...that.More
I know Thai food. I have eaten in Thai restaurants all over the country. When I want to evaluate a Thai restaurant I order the 2 signature Thai dishes, Pad Thai and Tom Ka (coconut soup) Both were terrible. I told the manager, wondering if...I just got a bad batch...No, she defended their cooking...So, The Worst Thai restaurant award goes to themMore
A fun little remake of an old gas station, this was worth the stop. The menu was fairly broad for a Thai restaurant. Record was very nice, the restrooms clean, and the food fair to great. The potsticker appetizer was scrumptious.
My wife and I eat here quite often when we come to Manhattan. It is excellent food and you get plenty for your money. I always have plenty to take home and eat for lunch the next day. My wife enjoys the Thai tea. I...can't remember the exact name of the dish I always get but it is essentially a garlic shrimp dish. Very good. Egg rolls and spring rolls are always very well prepared. Service is fast and everything is fresh prepared.More
We used Eatstreet to order takeout. The restaurant claimed to have not received the order, even though our credit card was charged. I was told by the lady at the desk it was "not my problem" and I would have to call Eatstreet. She grudgingly...gave me the phone number.
At no time did she apologize, offer to seat us in the dining room, or offer to take our order and have the kitchen make it while we waited. We would have accepted the latter.
When we contacted Eatstreet to get the credit card refunded, we were told one of their representatives tried to call the order in for us and the restaurant refused to take it.
This not only makes me angry, but sad. We love the food and have gone there for a number of years. I've introduced several of my friends to Thai food there as well
But tonight, not only did the restaurant lose my $100 order, they lost a loyal customer.More
We tried to get into another popular spot in Manhattan after a FB game, but very long waits. We remembered we love Baan Thai, and were able to get in with a minimum wait. Always worth the trip. Great food and value!
This is a wonderful restaurant. Food amazing, great spice and variety! Service spot on and the level of "hot" was more than we are used too from our normal hang-out, but OH SO GOOD!! We will definitely be back!
Didn't expect great Thai food in Manhattan, Kansas, but we found it here. Visiting long term friends here, we spent the five minutes necessary to see downtown Manhattan (again) and agree the Little Apple was still there.
Having already tried the few restaurants that were...not college based (i.e. pizza, beer, tacos, pizza, sandwiches, carryout, pizza), they said, how about thai?
We love thai food, but in Manhattan not NewYork?
Ok, the restaurant. It was clean, nice, and the food was excellent. We had pad thai (have to try that the first time of course), a spicy beef salad, and our friends had spicy basil beef.
We asked for our spiciness to be 5+, while they ordered 2. We were pleased to see ours was actually nicely spiced (we'd call it a 4, but delicious), while our friends was toned down to something they liked.
Too often, we find that meals asked for with different spice levels don't end up very different. Good job!
We like this so much that the next day, we ordered carryout - it was also fantastic.More
A vast menu offers authentic Thai food and every item our party of five ordered was delicious. We recommend the peanut curry, green curry, Pad Thai, and crab Rangoon. The prices are reasonable and our food arrived hot. The portions are generous. The restaurant’s décor...is beautiful and creates a warm, atmosphere with wooden wall pieces from Thailand. Take time to look at the cashier’s table and the custom tables made of gorgeous wood planks.More
