Nice family place. Stopped in for lunch and was very pleased with the choices. Food freshly prepared. Nice choice of beer too.

I love Nelson's Landing. They serve up great food with an even better attitude, always friendly. And for those of you who are Packers fans in Chiefs country you will be happy to know that Jordy Nelson's parents own Nelson's Landing and have long before he was a Packer. Thus why their family is tied into the small town USA... More
Being from our of state, we hadn't heard of Nelson's Landing until my daughter told me about it and we had dinner together while in the area. We felt welcomed right away by Jen and the rest if the staff. The food was wholesome, fresh and hot. The portions were huge so we had to take our pie "to go"!... More
Good down-home cooking and plenty of it. I was here with a group of 10 people, mostly farmers, and no one went home hungry or finished their entire meal. The portions are large enough for the NFL training table.
We stopped in for Sunday lunch. My husband had the Swedish Meatball dinner. The regular size order was very filling. My burger and sweet potato fries were good.
In the heart of beautiful downtown Leonardville, population 400 give or take a few, this place is awesome! Huge country fried steaks, homemade mashed potatoes, white gravy, side salad, a veggie and a roll. Reasonably priced. Great salads, burgers, and specials. Homemade pies. If you are going on a Friday or Saturday night, you might want to order your pie... More
Cute small town restaurant that plays up their connection to Jordy Nelson of the Green Bay Packers well, Green Bay memorabilia every where along with memorabilia from his earlier days. We got seated quickly, waitress was very attentive. Food was great home style cooking, every one cleared their plates no problem. Portions were right on (not to big, not to... More
I lead our HOG Chapter riders from Olathe on Sunday, Nov. 8th to visit Heritage Park in Junction City, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial that is there, We then proceeded to Nelson's Landing for lunch in nearby Leonardville. It is well worth the drive. The hamburgers are awesome in size and taste. The wait staff was friendly and courtious. The... More
We visited with family on a weeknight. One of the reasons we decided to visit was because if the daily special - Tbone steaks. The server told us the special was changed to filet mignon. Not that they were sold out but that they had changed it. They were VERY disappointed! My chicken fried steak was delicious as usual although... More
