Excellent food, friendly staff, great service. Enjoyed it all. Nice menu selection. We had both beef and lamb and the meat was flavorful and tender.

This is a gem of a restaurant whether you dine in or take out. Our family enjoys The Family Dinner for 4 or 8 which are extremely generous portions that feed at least 2 more people than advertised. We've had it in the restaurant and...as take-out. We also do lunch specials which are a great value and also have generous portions. Their lentil soup is the best that I've ever had. All of their baklava flavors are delicious. They also have vegetarian options.More

We love the food here and keep coming back for more. So glad that they have reopened their dining room and they are also observing the cdc recommendations for seating and serving customers. We had the gyro dinner and the chicken briyani. The gyros are...among the tastiest in the region. The lentil soup which came with the meal was hearty. The chicken briyani was savory and the chicken was tender and juicy. Please help us show our support for local businesses like these.More

Dinner during social distancing — satisfied our hunger & then some. Large portions. Not too spicy, which is good for people like me who don’t eat this style of food very often. And prepared in a healthy manner. Service was friendly. Would recommend.

This place was average. Not sure why people are talking it up so much. I can only assume they've not been exposed to better mediterranean food. It'll do in a pinch if this is what you're craving. I'm not saying I wouldn't go back, but...I'll definitely try another place before I do. Portion size was adequate. Prices reasonable.More

My wife and I visited Holy Land Cafe on 12/24/19 since we had not been there for a number of years. We had baba ghanous for an appetizer and the pita bread was excellent, tasty and soft. The baba was very tasty and we both...enjoyed the red sauce spice on it with our pita. Great start for the meal. My wife had the gyro plate and shared the gyro with me. It was for me some of the best gyro meat I have ever had. I had the tabouli and for me I would have enjoyed more bulgur wheat and onions but overall it was quite tasty and filling. It was a super lunch and the food was excellent.More

Started going here for lunch without any idea what they serve. One visit was all it took to keep coming back. The food is excellent and not like any other restaurant I have visited. The name Holy Land says it all. They serve chicken dishes...in varied sauces (sorry just can't put a name to them) with humus, pita bread, a small salad. I have tried most of the chicken varieties and all of them are very good. The lamb gyros with cucumber sauce is delicious. The portions are just right. They have the usual soft drinks, coffee, and tea. They also have other meat dishes that are served the same. The lunch and dinner menus are about the same with lunch being less expensive. It is a popular lunch destination. The menu does not change at dinner. The the staff is friendly and courteous. The time from ordering to the appearance of the food is very short. You can indulge your sweet tooth with a serving of baklava. All that being said, I get cravings for their food, so I eat there often.More

The food here doesn’t disappoint. We’ve been coming here for years now and have tried quite a few items on the menu. It’s all good and the staff here are accommodating and friendly. Their felafels, hummus and lentil soup are also really tasty.

Wonderful meal that started with homemade na’an and hummus. Entrees were all different, with folks enjoying every bite as we shared our food around the table. Baklava was EXCELLENT. We almost passed on dessert because the meal was so filling, but at the last minute...decided to take a variety home with us for later. Pistachio baklava was hands down the favourite! We enjoyed every bite of our dessert selection later that evening. Will definitely eat here again!More

A friend and I enjoyed an early supper on a Friday evening. It was nice to be able to talk. Service was attentive and very good. We enjoyed our meals. We had the stuffed grape leaves as an appetizer, I had the chicken and artichokes...and my friend had moussaka. I really liked the savory rice and the grilled vegetables that came with the meal.More

The food from Holy Land is amazing, they could use a little attention to detail on the presentation, but other than that it is great I love the food and have tried lots of their things and haven't found anything I don't like.
