Biggs has a great inside seating area, a few outside tables and a bar area. We stopped for lunch and ate inside. My wife's sliced chicken sandwich was very good. My Brisket sandwich was excellent - and large. It had lots, and lots of mouth...watering brisket. I had a side of sweet potato fries. It was also a good sized order with very good flavor. I would highly recommend eating here.More

Fun, sports bar atmosphere with an excellent selection of Barbeque styles and sauces. Stopped enroute from Tennessee to Utah and ordered a sampler platter to taste a little bit of everything. I thought Tennessee pulled-pork Barbeque couldn’t be beat, but I was wrong! Best pulled...pork I’ve ever had. The burnt ends and baby back ribs were also excellent. The St. Louis style ribs and smoked chicken were also very good. Go BIG and come to Biggs!More

Lots of yummy bbq and quick friendly service. The ribs are so tender and the pork belly is flavorful! Loved it

It’s an Ok bbq place. There are limited places in Lawrence to go for BBQ. The food is alright. The BBQ was a little dry and the cheese on the sandwich is strange. The staff is friendly and the service is good though. Not sure...we will go back.More

The atmosphere is quite comfortable, staff was very friendly. I had the combo platter special of St. Louis style ribs and Baby Backs. The ribs had good flavor, but for me they were a little bit overcooked. I like ribs that I have to bite...off the bone, not ones that meat falls off when you try to cut through to separate the ribs. That aside, the dinner was still very good. The fries were good, the coleslaw a mustard based dressing and quite tasty. The assortment of sauces for the meats is nice, and each is very good. Overall a good experience, and a decent value.More

The food was excellent. Large portions and good quality. The owner stopped by and said hello, as well. Friendly guy. I am not from Lawrence, but appears to be a fun place to grab a meal, especially before a Kansas sporting event.

The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The owner came to our table to help us find KU basketball tickets and gave us advice about seating. It was a great experience.

OK - first, we are from Texas and truly enjoy BBQ, we eat it all the time. We love KC BBQ as well as Memphis style too, as well as good ole Texas BBQ. We were in Lawrence for a few days, and thought having...BBQ ribs would be a great meal, and Biggs seemed to have decent reviews. The evening we stopped by, they were offering an 'All You Can Eat BBQ Rib Tips', and the waitress raved about how good they were. So several of us ordered them - Wow, what a mistake. The meat was dry, with lots of bones and gristle, you had to really 'chew' to get much meat off any of them. Oh, and did I mention that when one of my friends asked for another offering (since it was all you can eat), we were informed by the waitress that they were 'all out' - no more available. In this case, that was a merciful outcome, as they were bad, bad, bad. The sauce also has an off flavor, I've had many good sauces at places over in KC, and the Biggs sauce was 3rd rate we thought. One of our group ordered the chicken tenders, and thought they were really good - so some things on the menu might be OK, but I certainly cannot recommend the BBQ. Too bad.More
