Service was terrible today. Normally are served promptly but today, was sitting from 2:00 to 2:30 before our order was even taken. 2:50 before our appetizer came out. If this was my first time I would not be back.

My friends and I met at The Mad Greek yesterday. The food, as always, was delicious! The outdoor dining area is so fun...our server Vanessa was efficient and engaging. I highly recommend The Mad Greek!
My wife and I went for lunch today. They are doing a very good job with social distancing, etc. They still seem to offer the full menu. This was our first time there and it was really good food and a great value. We will...be back for sure!More
Had grubhub bring me a gyro and fries. They have a wide variety even during the pandemic. It was so awesome that i ate every bite. Highly recommend.
Good food and peaceful environment. It is nice to visit with time to enjoy all the decoration. The staff is real nice and the food comes in a very reasonable time.
Share the Mad Greek Combo with spouse. Saganaki is always ordered by friends. The fire is fun!! Noisy but still able to visit. Love the staff. They many staff who have worked there for years. Staff speak very highly of owners treating staff well. Love...sitting on Mass when the night is warm and the activity is full on the street. Relax, enjoy good food, take a friend or two or more. Eat, Drink and be satisfied.More
My husband and I brought our grandkids and great grandboys ro the Mad Greek on the Friday after Christmas. We arrived about 5:30pm and were seated immediately in a long table with three chairs on one side and a banquette on the other. We ordered...an appetizer of feta cheese that has been baked and served with Greek olives and pita bread. For entrees, we had a large variety between the 6 of us. Our youngest great grandson ordered the toasted cheese ravioli which I think he liked. He asked for some Italian bread which I think he liked the very best. The older great grandson ordered a Mad Greek burger which is very large with bacon and a very nice aioli sauce that he really liked. Our grand-daughter, on a gluten free diet, ordered the 4 cheese Ravioli gluten free. She said it was good, but would probably order something different next time. I ordered Theo's Kotopoulo Lemonato which is 2 nicely baked chicken thighs, served with very well cooked "Greek style" green beans which have a very slight tomato sauce and potatoes. This entree also comes with Greek potatoes which are large cut slices of baked potato. This dish has a nice flavor and I believe might be a Greek comfort food. Definitely a large serving - large enough that it can be shared. My husband ordered Lasagna (at a Greek restaurant?). He said it was good, but that the marinara sauce was very tomato-y and over-powering the meat and cheese flavors that he was looking for. All the adults ordered the small Greek salad with their entrees. The "small" salad is very large and is actually a delicious meal in itself. Next time, I may just order a small Greek salad and some pita bread and call it good. That way, I can also try the baklava which I have been told is delicious. I also noticed that they offer tiramisu! Definitely need to return to try that. The service was very fast. Our waiter was very attentive and helped to make it a good experience for our grt grandsons.More
We came on Tuesday where they had a sharer special deal designed for 2 people. "Date Night" type thing... You get to choose from a list of dishes and we chose the dips & pita, the gyros fries with feta, the souvlaki and the sliders....The hummus was outstanding, the meat was all soft and succulent and the sliders were the best of all in size and flavour. We left very full and very happy. Can't recommend it more than enough.More
We hadn’t been to The Mad Greek for several years, but we were in Lawrence today and saw their brunch banner, so we stopped to check it out. The price was perfect. Selection was very nice. The service was excellent. We will be back next...time we are in town on a Sunday.More
