This is an old time diner. Really good food and clean. I recommend it! the ham, eggs and hashbrowns remind me of a better time.

Pretty average food, service is dependent up your servers mood. Quick cheap and easy most of the time.

The southwest omelet is full of bacon and super delicious. They don't have decaf coffee but the southwest omelet is so good I don't care. Very relaxed atmosphere, recently painted. I've only been for breakfast, and like sitting on the section facing the street. Bright and cheery, including the staff.

Really good traditional breakfast! Last time I had the breakfast scramble and a waffle. Hubby had the Dagwood sandwich. Always good! Will definitely go back for other goodies. I prefer local flair over chain restaurants, so anytime I get the opportunity to go to local joints I do it. This one didn't disappoint.

Very good basic breakfast. Busy. Crowded. But worth the time. Waitresses and support staff very nice. Fairy clean little diner in a semi-industrial area of Kansas City Kansas.

I have driven past this little diner on Southwest Boulevard literally hundreds of times! It was always one of those "we should try that place" restaurants, but I am so glad we finally did. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The place is kinda small and there weren't a whole lot of open spaces to sit because so... More

Great little diner hidden amongst industrial buildings and supply houses. I was just driving around looking for something different. I found it at Dagwood diner, this place place brought back memories of my Dad taking me to these old school diners back in the 70's. The breakfast was great but I finished it off with a milk shake that was... More

Old fashioned diners are commonplace on the East Coast. In this part of the country, you may find reproductions, but Dagwood's is the real thing......since 1937. Fantastic breakfasts, including corn beef hash are the best in town. Whatever you order, have them spoon gravy over it. You'll become addicted to it. Meat loaf, chicken fried steaks and burgers are offered... More

It was the kind of diner type atmosphere that used to exist all over, but which doesn't anymore. The woman who took our order was great, they had tea, they had oj, they had great omelettes and marble rye bread...made in heaven for someone like me. My husband also loved it. It's a throw-back in an odd part of town,... More

This is one of our FAVORITE KC breakfast spots! The biscuits and gravy are wonderful and I love their corned beef hash. This place has been around for about 8 decades and is about as good as old school diner food gets. One of my favorites is the Irish Dagwood sandwich - grilled rye bread with an egg and corned...
