My fiancé Sarah and I went there and we were not dissatisfied at all. Good steak and nice wait staff.

It's nice to have a place to meet for a drink and appetizers in SE Kansas and Brothers Railroad inn has remodeled so there is a classy lounge and out door seating. I like the spaghetti with mushrooms & sausage and Jeff salad is wonderful. Although mostly Italian and excellent pizza, I'm hoping as they are continuing to meet people's... More

My husband and I tried Brothers Railroad Inn for the first time last week. No special occasion, no expectations. I had the manicotti with soup & bread sticks, and a glass of wine. My soup and bread sticks were the best part of the meal. The manicotti was good and a large portion, I took half home. My husband had... More

I took my girlfriend here as a fun date activity and was blown away by the service and decor, but was let down by the food and price. Not to say that either was bad, but I would have hoped food that was on the pricier food would have been better than I got. My girlfriend had the Caesar salad... More

The pizza, particularly the car shop pizza is great. The home made blue cheese dressing is the best. Great place for a night out.

Good food, friendly staff...but don't go here if you are in a hurry! Our lunch on the way through town took 1 and 1/2 hours.

It was nice to stop at this restaurant. We had a very good meal. If I lived in the area I'd visit often.

It had been quite a while since we had pizza from Brother's Railroad Inn. So, we stopped in there last Friday night. The place was, of course, busy. After a short wait, though we got a nice table and ordered the famous "Car Shop" pizza. This particular model comes with plenty of meats of all kinds. The crust is always... More

Since my glowing review from 2014, things have changed a bit at Brothers Railroad Inn in Independence, Kansas. The establishment is still may be the best place to eat, but it's now difficult to get in to enjoy the place. Brothers Railway Inn is only open a few days out of the week, making it inconvenient for those who seek... More

Brother's is my go-to spot for dining out in Independence. Their baked tortellini is my absolute favorite. Steaks are pretty good too. Nice atmosphere, good service and good prices.
