Excellent Lunch Spot

The Paisley Pear was excellent on a recent lunch stop driving I-70 from Denver. The store/restaurant is attractive, the service professional, and the food—I had tomato basil soup and a turkey and brie sandwich—first rate. While a bit off the interstate, it’s definitely a detour...worth making.More

Excellent and Relaxing Place

Excellent place to eat in a relaxed atmosphere. The waitress and owner were very friendly and easy to talk to. We had salads that were tasty.; reasonable prices. Highly recommend. They also have other foods to eat plus a wine bar. They had a cheese...and meat board that I would like to try if I ever visit Hays againMore

Charming Restaurant with Great Service in Hays

This place was recommended by a friend from the area. Our server, Sara, was outstanding and very personable. She recommended the Vacation Sweetness Salad and it was beautifully presented and delicious. We also had a flat of wine samples that was a great way to...try some new wines. Highly recommended.More

Really cute and bright dinning spot

We read reviews and wanted to try this dinning spot in downtown Hays. It did not disappoint-what a treat and lovely time we had at the Paisley Pear. Our server was very nice and helpful, food was delicious, atmosphere is delightful and their market selection...was so much fun. You have to try their wine slushes-it was the perfect "dessert" to finish off our ladies lunch. Although they do have some delicious looking desserts in the pastry case we opted for the wine slush. Very friendly and helpful staff. We'd love to return for their live music nights. Hand sanitizer bottles on every dinning table in the place.More

Lunch downtown

Wow, what a fantastic place to stop in for lunch. Was not a fan of buchetta, but the Paisley Pear changed my mind. Was amazing! If your wanting a little adult beverage, the Carmel apple mule tastes like liquid dessert. Definitely recommend you to make...a stop.More

Good Folks & Great Food

Lunch was exceptional. Simple. Rustic. Delicious. Nice selection of wines. Their tomato basil, & green bean dumpling soup was really tasty. The downtown area was so quaint, and felt like a safe area. Service was awesome. The owner and staff were really friendly and made...us feel welcome. Oh! The Bloody Mary! So good & spicy!More

Such a sweet, lovely place

Such a sweet, lovely place to stop and get a bite to eat. I am so glad we found this place. The bread they use is incredible, the staff are lovely. It is such an enjoyable experience from start to finish!

Dinner was yummy

Delicious! We had chicken salad croissants and the flat bread build your own pizza. Snicker's cheesecake for dessert!

Excellent! Super kind people!

Excellent! Super kind people! Definitely worth the stop of on I-70! Oreo cheesecake was delicious. They source it from a local bakery. I’d go back for sure.

Great wine bar

We stopped in for a quick drink before dinner. They had a large number of wines by the glass available. They also do serve some food and have a quaint little gift shop.

Great location hangout!

We are regulars at Paisley Pear! Wine, lunch, entertainment - we are always pleased! We often bring coworkers, clients and friends by. They have a great light lunch selection, a fun breakfast bar, and entertaining evening bands!

Amazing Local Lunch

Stopped at the Paisley Pear on my way through Hays while I was traveling west for the Big Kansas Road Trip this year. I loved the whole atmosphere of this place, restaurant and little shop included. I will happily eat there again and again!

Great place!

Amazing ambience. Wonderful wine and food. Lovely staff that is very sociable and attentive. Plus great music. You can't go wrong here! Just passing through town but glad we got a chance to experience the Paisley Pear.
