On our way home from Kansas City we decided to catch a bite to eat in Emporia. I did a search on Groupon and so glad I did. We stumbled on this place! The hamburgers are fantastic. The fries are great! The service was friendly and personable. We visited about 4pm so it wasn't horribly busy. If you are looking... More

Stopped in here on a Friday afternoon with our baseball team. Although the restaurant is not very big, it's quaint, clean and it was able to accommodate all of us. My kids ordered burgers and fries. I'm always counting calories, so with help from the owner (I presume) I ordered the Californian as a salad bowl. Their focus on customer... More

We loved this place. It is not fancy, and the neighborhood is not upscale, but everything else is wonderful. Start with the food. Great Philly cheesesteaks, in a wide array of styles. Add in burgers (including veggie and black bean versions), loose meat sandwiches, po-boys, wings, a "mini menu, salads, bowls, etc. Even fried rice dishes. And almost all is... More

Took my son up to visit the ESU campus and look around town, preparing for his move in the fall. I had happened across Do-B's online and thought it would be fun to try it out, I was wrong. It was Fantastic. We were the first ones in the door when they opened. We were greeted so politely and when... More

If you want exclusive ingredients, complexly prepared, and your meal costing a full day's wages, this is not the place for you. Nothing fancy here, just big, sloppy, delicious sandwiches. We had The Hornet and The Italian Stallion. Straightforward ingredients, like mother used to make (if you're lucky), too much for the bun to hold.

Went at here at lunch time on a Saturday. It was packed! After getting our food and the absolute BEST chocolate shake I've ever had, I understood why. Most of our large group ordered the regular size hamburgers and fries- Warning* be HUNGRY they were huge! I ordered the small and couldn't finish. The quality of the meat was amazing.... More

We were driving to Oklahoma City from Kansas City and stopped in Emporia for a bite to eat. We weren't sure what we wanted, so I Googled places to eat. This was one of three that came up. Man are we glad it did. My husband had a shrimp po boy and I had a black bean and avocado burger,... More

Do-B's is always one of the places we want to eat when we are back in Emporia. I tend to get the "Spartan" sandwich, but everything I have had there is great. Their breakfast is amazing as well and I sometimes come down the night before I need to so I can eat there in the morning. The service is... More
