On entering we were asked if we had a seating preference and as we didn’t know the place, said we didn’t, as long as we sat together. Maybe the guy didn’t like our sense of humour so he took us down a very long corridor...past loads of free tables, all the way to ‘Siberia’ with 2 other people, presumably also tourists who wouldn’t be back. However, the food was brilliant. A half smoked rack of ribs was vast, tasty and fell off the bone. Who can eat a whole one of these? Southwest chicken salad was also just what was needed with no taste of chlorine in the chicken! Had beer and a terrible margarita served in a beer glass, so weak think the barman forgot the tequila. No chance to say anything nor order desserts as we never saw our waiter again and had to go to the bar to pay. A restaurant is about so much more than the food and this restaurant failed on everything except that.More

I didn't have a lot of dining options in Dodge City on a Monday night, but Central Station was open and pretty empty. I asked for a food recommendation from the bartender, and she led me to the Torta. Get the torta - it's that...good. Tender beef, a good roll, perfectly seasoned. Damned good sandwich. Don't go here looking for atmosphere. They've got TVs and a good torta. Probably can't do much better in Dodge City on a Monday night.More

We had dinner at this restaurant and sat at the bar. The bar stools were too short, the bar hit us at our chins. It started out good. The fried mushrooms were wonderful. We ate ribeye steaks, which were tough and gristly. Surprising, since the...city is surrounded by beef on the hoof. The beer was good, thank goodness. And, the bartender, Karlee, was great and gave us excellent attention and care during our visit. Overall, the food needs improvement.More

Visited on a weekend evening, it was packed but the wait wasn't near as long as they told us it would be. I had the Pork Sirloin Steak and it was AMAZING!! Very friendly staff, highly recommend.

We arrived just before the time they should have been closing for lunch (2pm) but we were encouraged to come in, that was not a problem. The staff was friendly and seemed happy we were there. We both had a soup and sandwich combo along...with sweet potato fries and were very happy with our choices. We would definitely eat there again.More

Amazing food, terrible service. Our family waited for over an hour for food while staff sat with other guests and drank beer. The wait staff was completely frazzled and stressed staring they were too busy, which caused the wait. The highlight was the food tasted...great!!More

We were checking for someplace to eat and this seemed popular by all the cars parked in the lot. It's in a old train station so it's a interesting building. The service was a little slow and made a couple of minor mistakes on our...orders. We try and be low key so it was not a big deal to us, but I think it may have been a big deal to others. The food was very good and very filling. I saw the tables cleaned off as soon as diners left. Very clean, good place to eat. If your in the area this is a good place to eat.More

Perfectly cooked porterhouse steak, friendly service and good drink prices. Visited Wednesday night, pleasant crowd and good young server. Tasty tender porterhouse cooked medium with wonderful mashed potatoes and average green beans. Quick food prep. Would go again.

My husband & I ate here after walking around town and doing a bit of sightseeing. It was one of the places highly recommended by a young women at the museum. So glad we stopped by! The old west atmosphere is what you might expect...in Dodge - which we love - and the service was top notch. The meal portions were impressive, the food delicious, and the bill surprisingly reasonable given how much we ordered. You can't beat their fried mushrooms for an appetizer, and the steak was to die for. If we're in town again, it'll be difficult going anywhere else for dinner!More

The French Dip Sandwich was positively mediocre. The Southwest Chicken Salad was pretty tasty, although the ranch salad dressing we had was the thinnest ever. Our server was very nice, although it was sometimes hard to understand what he was saying, as his words mumbled...together.More

We waited a long time to be seated as this was a very busy restaurant. When we were seated we were told that the meal we wanted was not available - they had run out of ribs....Hailey was so good to us, she helped us...choose a good meal that would satisfy us and meet our expectations. We had dessert to go and enjoyed it later at our hotel. We would highly recommend this location.More

Nice place near the train yards( the whole of Dodge is). First time in Kansas wanted ribs but at 5pm on a Saturday they were out. Waitress was very good and helped balance being disappointed.

I guess Jackie pretty much answered your question. I did not see any pets inside or outside the restaurant during my visit. Good luck!
