Nice atmosphere and quality food. I have been back several times and would and do recommend it to my friends and family.

In Concordia for a camp and decided to try Heavy's. I read a few mixed reviews but wasn't to worried about eating here. My daughter and I both ordered the 1/3 rack of rib dinner. The ribs were very good as was everything else. Tried both barbecue sauces and the were also excellent. Service was quick and didn't wait long... More
I order the chicken with 2 side orders . The chicken breast was so dry I had to use a hp sauce to be able to eat the chicken breast. The price was reasonable if the chicken was moist and not dried out. The coleslaw was good, as well as potatoes. The meal with taxes was 14.08 . We return... More
A group of family members ate here during a family get-together. Two people had hamburgers, (which looked pretty good) and stated they were good. The rest had various meats...ribs, pulled pork, brisket, etc. My ribs were about 80% FAT. The rub had an unusual flavor. They were overcooked and dry. The broccoli was extremely overcooked. The cole slaw was very... More

Fun venue with lots of lunch menu choice. Crowded with people, but still plenty of room and fast service. We did Orphan Train (45 min) and Brown Theater (30 min) and BBQ for lunch. Then hit WW11 POW camp (45 min). Fun day in Concordia, KS.
A nice limited variety on the menu. Besides BBQ, there are hamburgers, catfish, pasta, steaks, salads and appetizers - just not a big selection within each category. We had good service. Nice portions and good flavor. Full bar.
The meal was all cold, my baked potato was burned, my smoked turkey was not smoked and had a terrible flavor. The ribs were fair.
We stopped here for the night and we asked the lady at the motel if there was a good place to eat and she suggested "Heavys Steakhouse & BBQ. We had a great meal of brisket and a top sirloin.....done to perfection. Our server took excellent care of us. The place was very clean and it was easy to find... More
