Took my 93 year old grandad out for lunch today and thought we'd try The Bull as its local to him. The food was SUPERB. The portion size was extremely generous. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The toilets were spotless. Could not fault one part of our visit and will definitely be returning. Would recommend to all.

I recently visited this pub for an evening meal with my partner. It was fairly quiet which may have been due to it being a Thursday evening. The main course was cooked to order and was a tasty chicken dish - we had an excellent side order of freshly cooked chips. The pub itself is charming - well presented and... More

This pub has new management and I hadn't been in since the take over. We were hoping that there would be an improvement but were disappointed. There is a different arrangement of tables and a very large settee over in the corner but it is still quite dark with dark inexpensive furniture and dark red carpets.....the person who took our... We popped in here to escape a rainy spell during a camping weekend at Wellington Country Park. Five adults and four children. Great choice! Friendly landlord, good beer (Kentish like my good self!!) courtesy of Shepherd Neame. Really reasonably priced menu and very good grub. The fish and chips were huge, with a really good looking batter – same on... More

This was our first visit to The Bull and we deliberately didn't read any previous reviews as the sign outside said 'Under New Management' so we didn't want to go in with any preconceived notions. The home made scotch eggs were warm with perfect runny yolks and the home made onion marmalade was so lovely I asked for the recipe... More

A friendly, welcoming pub with a focus on good old fashioned hospitality. With a good selection of traditional pub food from starters, mains and desserts.
