I popped here with my father for a quick bite to eat one Saturday lunchtime. It's far larger inside than it looks from the outside - the decor is a bit dated, your typical old fashioned pub/eatery. Despite a roaring fire on one wall, it did feel quite cold and draughty (and this from the person who doesn't wear a... More

This is a pub situated in a rural location and has an intersting glass covered well in the floor of the Inn. We ate lunchtime sandwiches with chips etc, priced slightly higher than expected but the food was nice and the staff friendly

Visited this pub with neighbour for his birthday, after hearing good reviews on my local radio WM95.6. Nice little pub easy to find with sat nav, plenty of parking. I had previously booked a table to be on the safe side. Walked up to bar and was greeted by smiling barmaid who took our drinks orders. We were shown to... More

We met friends here for a carvery lunch after hearing good reports. We were very disappointed. There were not many customers and the food looked dry. We waited ages at the servery and when the chef came he was rather abrupt and quite charmless. We will not be returning.

We stopped here after a day out at the races as it was one of our groups birthday, a little rough around the edges when it comes to seating you at tables, getting drinks and ordering as it is not at all clear you are on your own and staff don't come out from behind the bar to do any... More

We are local to the March Hare and decided to eat there last Tuesday. Arrived at 7.30pm, paid and waited for someone to come out to carve the meat. Unfortunately no one came, complained and out comes the server/carver texting on his phone. No plates which he has to find when hes finished texting. I asked for one thick slice... More

If you want a carvery this is your place, very busy best to book a table. Excellent meats on offer with a big choice of nice freshly cooked vegetables. Their alternative menu offers a good choice. Plus their desserts are excellent. Must emphasise very busy so booking is advised.
