Had a lovely family meal here, there was a wait for the food but I believe that was down to its popularity. There's the garden & small play area where we sat afterwards with some coffee & beers.

This was the first time that I've been here for a few years now, but very little seems to have changed (good thing)!! Still a good selection of 3 meats, with all of the trimmings with it- everything tasting fresh and piping hot, which isn't always the case at carveries!! Will be back and would recommend, a proper village pub... More

We were traveling home after a trip to Cheddar Gorge and we made a detour to go to this wonderful place that serves great food, and we were not disappointed, warm welcome, good service and lovely home cooked food, both our meals were perfect and well worth the time to go here, we will most definitely call back here again.
We booked in advance as we were aware it can be very popular. The service and food was great, fantastic selection of veg , great meat and amazing puddings.
As a Committee we visited aThe March Hare for our annual dinner. As before we found the Staff very friendly and courteous and so helpful. We have been visiting The March Hare several times a year for more than 15 years and have never once been disappointed. The carvery is always excellent (we have almost never bothered with the menu), and the choice of vegetables is second to none. They don't (ever) skimp on the meat and expect you to fill up with the veg... More
Went for a 200 Club Christmas draw gathering there were probably about 100 of us. The service was very quick and efficient indeed. I had a carvery which was excellent value (A Monday evening event)and most enjoyable. The main menu looked delicious also. Most enjoyable evening.

Hello all at the March Hare Inn, we live in an old house in Norton, Victorian in fact. We have just found a brick lined well in excellent condition under the scullery floor. Thirteen feet down to the water which seems to be eight feet deep. Could you please tell us who did the glass top on yours as the only outfits we have found so far seem to be in Hampshire!
