An unpretentious small country olde world style pub with a small enclosed and well maintained garden. A bit off the beaten track but all the better for that. The menu is limited but that's how I like it --rather than extensive freezer driven menus. A speciality is their small range of pizzas cooked in a wood fired oven--They are delicious... More

I took my mother here for her birthday. The lunch menu was £12.95 for 2 courses. I had mackerel pate followed by homemade steak and ale pie with chips & vegetables. The food was delicious and very filling. The steak pie was very tasty and the meat was tender and lean. We will go there again.

We've been visiting the Dove, off and on, for years for a quiet drink with friends or a meal. There's a nice, easy vibe to the place.

A lovely pub, perched roadside along the country lanes somewhere between Faversham and Whitstable. To be honest upon arrival the menu was rather more simplified than expected and whilst nicely cooked - the pie was very tasty, the steak and chips as it should be - it was not quite as special as I was hoping for. In any case... More

Been a long time since I've had a meal with no "issues" but tonight we had one of our best for a long time. Host was friendly and attentive. Although quiet there was nice atmosphere. Starters great, sardines with home made piri piri sauce, asparagus starter fresh and lovely, rib eye main was great, gnocchi also good and then and... More

Stopped off on the way to a break in Whitstable on trip adviser recommendations and so glad we did. This is a wonderful pub restaurant close to the main road but in a charming village with a warm welcome and quality food and beer. We shared the seafood platter which was delicious down to the shavings of ginger and the... More

We arrived at this quaint village pub, gasping for a drink! We were welcomed and served quickly with a friendly smile. After being served, we settled in the back garden which was set up beautifully. After eating some gorgeous homemade chips, we ventured round the side to find 2 football goals set up - that was our 12 year old... More

Have just returned from a family and friends meal at the " pie and a pint" night. Some of us had the most tasty pie ever! Others had the freshest fish and chips ever! Well done the dove!
