We visited The Grey Goose to celebrate my wife's Birthday and booked in advance. We arrived a few minutes early in the busy, bustling pub but were seated and drinking in minutes. We were offered menus and although there was a huge choice of dishes including full al a carte, The carvery had grabbed our attention. Taking centre stage it... More

Went on a Saturday mornings night not realising it was a set menu .. Normally would not have 3 courses as portions are more than ample.., everything was lovely as always .. Love the whitebait starter and is the only time ever that I have eaten the very crisp skin on my salmon fillet... Not the cheapest in the area... More

Visited on Sunday for lunch and was most impressed. Of all my dining experiences, Sunday lunches, Roast dinners or a Carvery are my bottom three. They are always a disappointment, with tired food, full pubs and stressed staff. None of that at the Grey Goose, what a find, the food was superb, beef and pork cooked perfectly and a fantastic... Came here as a group of 10 for my 30th birthday after being let down by another restaurant at late notice, what a blessing in disguise, this place is amazing!! So much choice on the menu, I struggled to pick what I wanted for each course and this is rare for me! Really accommodating with my two children who we... More

My Girlfriend and I visited the Grey Goose yesterday for a Sunday lunch. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere in a modern building and setting. We both opted for the carvery (although will return to try the a la carte menu which looks excellent). The Roast dinner we had was of a very high standard and we shall definitely return,... More

We booked for the 12.30 sitting of Sunday lunch as we wanted to try the Carvery! Good choice of vegetables, well presented and hot, fantastic Yorkshire puddings and of course great carvery with plenty of meat. This is a £50 per couple meal, with pudding and drinks but in great surroundings, so well worth it. Oh staff were lovely, well... More

My wife and I are fans of this place and go regularly, usually on a Monday for their pasta, pizza and risotto menu. The food is always good and most of the waiting staff are good too. Last night was a little lacklustre though. We booked for an early dinner and it wasn't busy, but I still had to prompt... More

My partner and I went for a meal ....we had not been for years. ..and the noise level in the restaurant was as bad as last time. The large table down the centre had a massive party of people in full flow and as it's a vaulted ceiling it's really noisy. We could not hear ourselves talking. As it had... More
