Visiting the area south of Norwich for a week's break, I used TripAdvisor and Google to find places where we could eat and keep our 2 huge dogs with us.The reviews said that The Kings Head is dog-friendly, and also that the food is really very good, and we can endorse these opinions. I had phoned in advance, not only... More

Popped in for lunch and was impressed with the menu choices. Had the 2 course special which was great value at £12. My husband's fish and chips was particularly good with excellent, crispy batter. The service was polite, friendly and prompt.

When we did finally sit down the table was next to the main entrance and the end of the bar which meant we got a cold draft every time the door opened and nudged by customers as they walked between our... We've had lunch and dinner here recently. The menu is the same but there are daily specials and themed nights. The pub seems popular with both drinkers and diners. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. Happy to recommend.

sadly with the busy Norwich - Bungay road traffic roaring through...but no bother, you cannot hear this when you are comfortably seated within. There is plenty of car park space off the road, so I imagine this Pub-Res is popular with trippers from Norwich and the surrounding area. I met with 4 friends for lunch there after a 6 mile... More

Popped in for lunch. Friendly welcome. Generous servings. Helpful staff, who were very willing to get umbrella out for customers wishing to sit outside. Seems to be a lot going on in the evenings

Why travel miles when you have The Kings Head on your doorstep? Went on Saturday evening with friends and had an excellent meal. Food great as was the service. Wine reasonably priced as well. Brooke is very lucky to have The Kings Head.

Just been for Mother's Day and it was really disapointing , staff were really trying but just couldn't keep up. Starters were not very good, very basic. Uncooked broccoli , Luke warm meal and then by the time the veg came out we had nearly finished. Such a shame because lots of people had recommended it. Maybe it was just... More
