While traveling home from MN, I always enjoy stopping at Grandmas restaurant. We had a carry out order with all this coronavirus crap going on and the food was just as good as if I ate in the restaurant. Maybe a little cooler, but not their fault. They accommodated me by cutting my tenderloin into strips so I could eat it easier while driving. Tenderloins have thick, white meat and great coating without all the batter. Highly recommend.

The food is good,but the cook is kinda mean.

my husband and I stopped at Grammas on our way out west and my husband had the brisket and it was very good.On our way back home we stopped again for the brisket. The waitress asked the cook if the brisket was done he said it would be done by 4:00 p.m. and it needed to rest for a bit and we could get some then .so we told her we would wait. She went back at 4:30 and asked him if he would cut the brisket he said no and was really mean to the waitress and said he might not even cut it the next day. I feel the cook is mean to the waitresses and I probably won't go back.

My friend and I stopped here on our way home back to Kansas. I thoroughly enjoyed the cinnamon pancakes which had cinnamon, brown sugar and butter icing on the top. I also had a cup of coffee. The pancakes were huge. I enjoyed every bite. I definitely will stop here again if in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Grandma don't love me!

I have been to this restaurant and have recommended it over the World's Largest Truck stop. However, I was so disappointed Sunday, August 2, 2020 when we walked in and no one was wearing masks include waitress. They had a salad buffet open to diners. I will not be returning to this restaurant because I do love my grandmother, grandfather and several others to be respectful and wear a mask as asked of health workers. If you choose to continue to patronize this restaurant please make sure you tell your loved ones that you love them but its about YOUR comfort.

Made reservations for Father's Day Brunch. Asked the lady on the phone is they had a Brunch she said yes. We asked to make a reservation for the Brunch. She asked what time would we like 9am. She said ok. When we arrived on Sunday for the Brunch were told by the manager and Server that it didn't start until 10. I asked why we weren't told that? The server was very disrespectful and said it has always been 10am and implied that we should have known that.

No mask-no social distancing-wide open buffet. My husband and I thought we might have breakfast there. We waited at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged and seated. We were seated for another 10-15 minutes without any acknowledgement. None of the staff and very few customers wore masks. It was really scary to watch all the unmasked people getting food from the buffet. Not one was seeing using hand sanitizer. We masked up and left.

Horrible customer service.

Waited 30-45 min for pot roast and cod dinner. Party beside us that came in 15 after us got their food! We asked to pay for 2 teas and small salads and cost us $25. We travel through here alot for work but we will never be back to this restaurant. No one even apologized to us.

Horrible service

Came in at 9:30 PM. Asked waitress what time they closed. She said 10:00 PM so okay. We both ordered wbut then never saw waitress again. At 10:10 PM we left as restaurant was empty, even our waitress was MIA and never got salads. Guess they closed on us without serving us. Just a memo for late night service.

Very disappointing!

We arrived this morning and were seated immediately, however, people that came in after us got their food and was nearly finished eating before the waitress even came to ask us if we wanted something to drink. Approximately a half hour later we had a waitress ask us if we wanted something to drink! The waitress never once smiled to us or the customers around us. All 4 of the waitresses in our area approached the customers about the same. Very disappointed. Will not return.

No complaints whatsoever, such good food & great quality service! I go here quite often & Kenzie is by far my favorite waiter, she's so patient & overly kind with such a sweet heart. We don't experience too many waiters like her where you can just feel such positive energy radiating from the person! Would recommend this place to anyone, every single meal I've tried is absolutely delicious & very well cooked. If you're looking to visit, ask for Kenzie for an even better experience, truly.

My Gramma would be disappointed with this place. The service was sub-par. It took so long to get our food (20 minutes), well some of it, The waitress dropped one of the omlets and we had to wait another 15 minutes. I never received a refill of my coffee to entire time, while other customers got several. We asked the 'server' to big the omlet in a to-go box since we had already stent too much time there, she didn't and we had ask again for a box. We also asked for ketchup and plastic eating utensils, then had to ask again when we checked out. And also she never brought us a bill. Will never stop there again. And another thing, it was not busy so that can't be an excuse.

Last customers of the night.

We arrived after 9 to a nearly empty parking lot. The “open” sign was still lit so we went in. I asked the young woman if they were still serving, and with a smile she said yes. Both the hostess and waitress were exceptionally kind and attentive even though we were the only ones in the dining room. I had wanted to visit since Gramma’s won the Best Tenderloin contest years before, and I wasn’t disappointed. But just as good were the onion rings - and good onion rings aren’t easy to find. So all around a great dining experience with a devoted staff. Very well done!

NO service. Left sitting and ignored

Sat there for 10 minutes looked at by several employees after they seated us and ignored. We left. Usedto be good now poor poor service. So much for some so called travel channel review. You don't service your customers you get bad reviews

I come thru walcott every weekend. This is my go to spot. I only eat during days. The cooks at night are a joke. My food is never right at night. Katie takes great care of us. She treats us like family which means a lot to those of us are always away from our families.. i have had other bartenders there and they only care about trying to squeeze the most tip possible instead of customers bein happy..overall be alot happier if cooperate would do somthin about the cooks and poor quality of food at night..would go a long ways to getting better reviews and more of us spendinmore time and money

Hair in pizza

We just got a large 1/2 Hawaiian 1/2 canadian bacon with fried pickle spears. Found a very long human hair in the 1/2 Hawaiian side. Husband immediately threw everything away. With tip $47.00 in the garbage. 😢 just why?? This just shouldn’t happen, short staffed or not.
