I've ate here twice for events within two weeks in their private dining area. The private dinner was nicely done - four tables with pre-ordered family style dining. The salads, entrees and desserts were all delicious - nice wine selection, too.

We arrived with a large group and neglected to RSVP! The staff made a fabulous meal for 19 and handled our goof with courtesy, awesome service, and an amazing meal! Sam & Gabe's went way above my service level expectations!
