Used trip advisor to look for somewhere for lunch after visiting the fabulous Henrhyd falls - this place is fantastic! What a brilliant pub, fabulous lunch and the bonus of the micro zoo that the children loved! Shame this place is not closer to home otherwise I'd be there every week!

We were staying up the road and passed the Pen y Cae Inn and decided to stop for a quick drink, the weather was warm so we sat in the garden. We were surprised to see the mini zoo !! the animals all looked well cared for and every thing was clean and kept up together,we then decided to come back... More

This was a great place to eat. The food was really good value for money and the restaurant itself great. We had a table looking out to the hills. There is also a small zoo for rescued animals.

Not a lot on the menu to suit pregnancy. Minimal menu at lunch time with not a lot of choice but evening prices. Stunning venue and food was of a good quality.

Spent a lovely evening at the Pen y Cae Inn whilst staying at the Pentre Riding stables. The al le carte menu has plenty of choice, so opted to start with Fried Camembert and Mushroons in Filo pastry, then followed with Duck and Pork loin stuffed with black pudding and apple. The service was good and the food nicely presented,... More

Been here a couple of times now after hearing rave reviews. Last Oct I went for a meal here with the Mrs on Date Night and we recently went for my uncles birthday. On both occasions the food was exceptional, I've visited most of the main places to eat in Swansea and surrounding areas. Pen Y Cae is right up... More

We called in here as I've wanted to come for ages. I wasn't disappointed... Beautiful decor.. cosy, comfy country pub. If your looking for a leather sofa next to a roaring fire you won't be disappointed... The restaurant is spacious and roomy. Lovely oak decor. The only thing which lets the venue down is that over crowded art on the... More

....this is getting a little repetitive, but when somewhere is good, its good...not our first visit to this stunning restaurant, and certainly not our last. The food is always excellent, but don't be in a hurry, the food is cooked fresh, and that takes a little time...just relax .....the team at the Inn really look after you,and couldn't be more attentive and helpful.....highly recommended
