I must say I am highly disappointed in Fuji Bay. As a sushi lover this place failed on all levels. Sushi bar doors kept open with selections tossed around in a carless disgusting manner. Prepared without gloves or washing of hands. Prices are much higher than other places in Sioux City. Decor is unkept and outdated. Sushi tasted ok but... More

Really, the only place in town for fresh sushi. Fun place, would be good for taking clients to for dinner. Good downtown location, parking sometimes is difficult if there is a show next door...

A surprising find is available in the center of Sioux City. Only a block away from the Orpheum this tiny corner of Japan provides a fun and tasty culinary experience. It is our favorite spot to quench our physical thirst before we embark upon satisfying our emotional thirst at a concert by Sioux City Symphony Orchestra. Bento box is my... More

Besides having the sushi, you have to have a "lunch box." They are really really good and would highly recommend it if you are going there for lunch. Plan on spending an hour for lunch.

Fuji Bay may well be one of the best kept secrets in Sioux City. Located on 6th Street in the downtown area, it is a favorite of those of us who know about it. Authentic, serving freshly-made food, intimate, quaint-truly a gem. Expect to spend a little extra time at this amazing restaurant because the food is cooked at the... More

Not the best sushi I have ever had, and not a wide variety, but what is served is of good quality. A clear coice compared to Bamboo Sushi or mall sushi.

This has to be one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant. I ordered a box and my husband a couple pieces of sushi and a roll. After 45 minutes we received my order. After a couple minutes, I went ahead and started to eat so that my teriyaki didn't go cold. I finished my meal and... More

Fuji Bay does serve sushi but we found it average when compared to other fresh fish sushi restaurants. No greeting at the door even though the Sushi Chef was actively working away at the fish cooler beside us. This did give us plenty of time to review the menu and decide whether to take a chance eating here or heading... More
