Folks either love "la Juan" or hate it. The food is quite good, especially the carne asada items, served with lots of cilantro and onions. The guacamole is outstanding. Unfortunately the presentation and setting are not so great. It is small, noisy, and there is no table service. Counter ordering is hectic and error prone. I would eat here every... More

This local location is one of the best places to visit while in the area. Their entire menu is fantastic and the service is always extremely fast. They were even named as one of the top burrito places in the country recently. Staff is always nice and easy to work with to get your order in and get on the... More

This is truly a great experience for anyone who loves fresh, authentic mexican food. The best burritos, asada tacos and the chicken is spiced perfectly. Also, the jalapeño spiced carrots will keep you coming back for more. You will need cash and you will wait in line, but you won't be sorry. It's clean and it's a melting pot of... More

The go to place for great mexican food in Sioux City. Everything is good...tacos, burritos, all of it. Steak tacos are my favorite with some rice and beans. Always busy, so be prepared to wait in line for a little bit.

One of my favorite places to eat in Sioux City. They have some of the best steak burritos in town. You definitely get a lot for what you pay.

Can't say enough about this place! Great for lunch. We order about once a week and take it to go. Beef tacos are my favorite but their nachos are very good too! Don't forget the carrots either! Best authentic Mexican food I have found hands down!

A friend heard I was going to be passing through the area and said we most go and that we wouldn't be disappointed. We got there at 1230p on a Sunday and the place was packed the service was quick and the food was WONDERFUL and inexpensive. There was a long line when we arrived but it moved quickly and... More

First of all we arrived at just the right time, as the line formed quickly behind us. All of the tables were full, but after we ordered a table opened up. They had someone working the lobby that cleans up quickly. The entire process of ordering was interesting and very efficient. One woman took every order, wrote it down, called... More

It's really Mexican food. But growing up in Sioux City and eating there all the time I have noticed change and recipes lately like there homemade hot sauce isn't as strong as it used to be it's more water down to make it go further which isn't ok in my book. And as far as a carne asada goes I... More
