On an island in the Mississippi lies a spot unlike any other in the Midwest! Bombfire has the best wood fire thin crust pizza! We had the portabella with jalapeños and it was amazing! Memorabilia fill the place inside and out. Tom and his family are all onsite and make you fill right at home!

What a jewel in the middle of the Mississippi! With my eating restrictions what a relief to find Bombfire. Covers all eating restrictions gluten free, vegan. I was able to have a gluten free calzone with vegan cheese and mixed with the great tomato sauce iand a side of garlic oil, it was delicious. You can create your own pizza... More

Ecclectic, relaxing, a party in my mouth. The Med Pizza has delicious olives and a tasty pesto, the thai pie has hints of peanuts and spice. I love this place, don't know expect robotic service - expect amazing food in a laid back atmosphere.

We have been several times. This is a unique experience. I have several favorites like Tai Chicken with its peanut oil and pineapple. Also, the Chicken Bacon Ranch and BBQ chicken are great. We went last night, a group, almost 4hrs round trip. They were out of bacon. On a Saturday evening? This meant half of the menu items were... More

First let us say that the pizza was absolutely amazing. Made in a wood oven and still made fresh and hand-tossed. That being said, please note that all pizzas are $20 regardless of what the menu says. Based on the menu our pizza should have been $17 but when we got the check we were told all pizzas are $20.... Found this place on a net recommendation of interesting eateries in Iowa. Pizza was better than shown in its ads. Nice beer selections. The décor and ambiance was trippy, certainly in a good way. If you're looking for great out of the way dive, you won't go wrong here.

Bicycle trip and camping in Seubla. The whole island is very cool, right in the middle of the Mississippi river, not quite Iowa, not quite Illinois. mellow, everybody friendly and nice. Sebula is one fudge shop away from being a tourist destination, but right now it's a totally undiscovered treasure. The campsite is clean and pretty and this restaurant seems... More

This place is a diamond in the rough. Don't be scared when you come in. The appearance of the place is eclectic for sure, but don't worry the health department told me their kitchen is one of the cleanest in the county. The pizza is excellent and priced accordingly. Quality ingredients do cost more. I love the fact they use... More

We had heard about a great pizza place in Sabula. This wasn't it. Perhaps the reason they were so crowded when we entered was because this was the only place to get food on a Saturday night in Sabula. The decor was something you'd expect to see in downtown Madison, WI...very hippie, and a very strong smell of incense. It... More
