Does anyone know what happened on January 12, 2023? We went to eat dinner here and there were police everywhere. The restaurant was closed and it was surrounded by police tape. We asked an employee but they declined to answer. Thanks for sharing anything you...know! We sincerely hope for the best.More
This was our third visit to the Litibu Grill. We went for lunch at 3pm and arrived early for drinks and lounging in the garden. Best margaritas ever. Hung out with Gillian and enjoyed the amazing views. We had a lovely meal including beer salads,...catch of the day, grilled ictopus, Baja fish tacos. Everything was fresh and flavourful. Octopus was tender and delicious. We had coffee and key lime pie. We loved it and recommmend you go as it is unique and in a beautiful setting. The staff and the owner are wonderful, they make sure the experience is memorable. We brought along some friends and they loved it too. Thank you, we will be back🙂More
Three of us went for a 1:00 lunch. We did not want to be late as they only hold your reservation for 10 minutes, so we arrived early. The gates were not open and when asked, were told we could not wait even on the...grounds. This was disappointing. Returning to the car we drove for about 15 minutes and headed back. The marlin tostadas are delicious, as are the burgers and possibly the best margaritas I've had. The servers were attentive and the owner did come by to see how we were doing. Gilligan the Great Dane is lovable! It's a long drive from Bucerias and I've done it several times now but won't go back for awhile. I've been for dinner too and it's a little different. You can enjoy a cocktail in the comfortable outside lounge area and then proceed to your table for dinner. The ocean is wide open and not part of the Bay of Banderas. Walk along the beach. Watch fishermen cast their nets from the beach. It is a worthy destination.More
Ok, so outstanding setting, lovely if sometimes awkward service. We had a nice experience but would we do it again … no. Food was ok, but for the spend not there. Gillian is a sweetheart
The food and service were excellent. A reservation is required for all guests. Our food was amazing and at the top of the best food I had on this vacation. I had the ceviche which was bright and refreshing, followed by the Mahi special with...ginger lemon butter sauce. It was honestly the best piece of fish I've had in years. A few quirks: 1. They'll send you a link with google maps, which can be a bit confusing as it has you driving through a river, parking, then walking through the river to the location. Don't go through the river but stop at the gate on the top of the hill before the river. 2. The 800 pesos/person minimum to relax in the lounge after/before your meal includes your lunch tab. This is not clear on their long list of rules. 3. The ocean is rocky and not really swimable in front of the restaurant.More
Ah Litibu Grill, you never disappoint! The food, the service, the natural beauty and the gracious welcome all contribute to making this restaurant so very special. We will be back soon!
This is one of those spots that you will not just "happen upon." It's tucked down a dusty dirt road, but it's worth the effort. It sits on the beach with a casual, comfortable outdoor lounge area. The service is excellent and the food is...fresh and well-prepared. Note that you need reservations!More
What a great little spot for a perfect dinner. Octopus was best Ive ever eaten. Catch of the day (Mahi) was fantastic.
A beautiful hidden gem in Litibu! Service and food were fantastic! The view is absolutely amazing. The staff was so attentive and welcoming. Please visit this gem by the sea!
We went for 5 o'clock so we could enjoy the sunset. The cocktails and wine were delicious. The food was excellent. Our group had fresh fish, ribs and the grilled octopus. We also loved the key lime pie. Alfonso came over after dinner to thank...Us for coming . The service was first class. We can hardly wait to visit again!More
We found this place after a recommendation from Diego at Higuera GC. Our second visit and we made a reservation this time. 😎. The food is so fresh and well prepared and presented. Class act staff…never rushed, very accommodating and polite. Clementine was our server…great...explanation of menu and helped us make great choices. Cold towels to freshen ourselves after golf. Food was impeccable. Margs and wine were excellent. The owner Alfonzo is always pleasant. Cash only and no Wi-Fi…so just enjoy the breeze, ocean, food and great service. We’ll be back soon with friends Thank you Ricardo and AnnMore
Staycation! We love the Litibu Grill! First of all…it’s so beautiful! When you get there and walk through the gate, that first sight of the sofas, the palms, the grass, the Pacific Ocean…if that doesn’t take your breath away…nothing will! The staff and owner go...out of their way to make you feel welcome! There are very few places like this in the world. We like to sit under the palms, have a drink, have some of their fantastic guacamole, and enjoy their Great Dane, Gilligan, before we eat. Nothing is rushed. You’re made to feel at home, take your time, RELAX! Lunch was, as always, delicious. Ribs, as always, fall off the bone delicious. Two of us had the fish of the day. A mild white fish I was unfamiliar with, delicious! I had mine with their lemon ginger sauce..perfection. My friend had the house sauce, a sweet and sour combo. The Litibu Grill is a special treat, a hidden find. When you find it, you’ll want to share it with your friends. Thank you Litibu Grill…you make the end of a long week so worth it!More
My GF Sharon and her sis Flaca had lunch here earlier this week. Flaca is visiting from up north and wanted to do something new. Our lunch fit the bill perfectly. We shared chips and guacamole, which was flavorful but not overly picante. Sharon and...I each enjoyed the Caesar salad with shrimp for our meal and Flaca had the catch of the day. The meals not only were delicious but beautifully prepared. The staff was attentive and friendly, speaking very good English. The setting is one of the most impressive beach views in the area, it’s quiet and very tranquil. Finding the location is not easy if it’s your first visit but there are signs along the road in Higuera Blanca and most taxi drivers are familiar with the restaurant. We come on special occasions, as it’s not budget priced. That’s said, it’s a remarkable experience of sea and cuisine. Not miss this hidden gem!More
Amazing appetizer, marlin tostadas!! Great service. Beautiful location on an almost empty beach! The casual atmosphere was lovely.
