Barfoot Bar has everything going for it. The concept, design and layout are five stars. First, the bar is located right on the edge of West Okoboji. There is a whole marina for docking to visit the bar. Second, at the end of the dock, there are a series of water slides, water mats and places for young kids to... More

Fun idea. Neat bar but lacking in the customer service. Ordered the rum runner it wasn't frozen. Bars should be equipped to make the actual drink but are not. Rude kid behind the bar ignored us for ten minutes while he fidgeted with anything and everything behind the bar. What a joke.

We LOVE going to Barefoot Bar every time we are in Okoboji. It's such a fun spot to pull up in the boat and go grab a cold drink. They have a large drink menu, and a good size food menu. Barefoot is entirely outdoors, and the food is just your average bar food- nachos, burgers, etc.. nothing special, and... More

We love the barefoot bar and come here every summer while visiting Okoboji. The atmosphere is fun and the drinks are cold. The food is mediocre heat it and eat it bar food.

The barefoot bar is a very cool attraction. It is definitely something everyone should see at least once. We came in on the water and docked. Very crowded and difficult for inexperienced boaters to navigate. But other than the cool atmosphere it's just gas station style food from another bar facing the water.

While theatmosphere of the Barefoot Bar & Grill is excellent , there is nothing special about the menu. It isn't any better than the light bulb sandwhiches at your local gas station.

This place is an experience all in itself. Good drinks & Food. Interesting people to watch. You feel like you are in Jamaica or something. Bartenders were working their butts off the day we were there. Really good music playing that evening also and people were dancing and having a great time!

This place is a great bar scene. Tiki huts, bars, music and overpriced drinks. The food is less than desirable. The food prices rivaled most good restaurants but lacked the quality. The burger was a frozen wholesale club generic named frozen patty reheated served with food service grade potato salad probably from a tub, and lays potato chips. If I... More

Great outdoor space on the water- you forget your at the lake and not at the ocean! They have a sand area and playground for kids, water access with a lily pad and slide. The drinks are delish! Recommendations; Pick Your Parrot Pail, Pina Colada, Miami Vice, Rum Runners... We made 3 trips to this location on our 5 day... More

Great place for kids and families. Love the clothing and the barefoot bar logo and marketing. Good drinks and you keep the glass. Playground and sand/Maui mat and slide for kids to stay busy. Bathrooms are a little dirty and outdated and the food are BareFEat leaves a lot to be desired. Would probably order pizza again but nothing else.... More
