Authentic it is. The food was amazing. Everything was fresh. Tortillas were hot off the press. The service was excellent. I was very impressed!

las Palmas mexican bar and grill is a great place for a great meal! Great atmosphere…service is excellent! The cleanliness of this place Impresses me..always someone cleaning up tables AND THE FLOOR after the customers! Very well managed…not short of help here!!
This place was a good change in eating out. Fajitas vs. Hamburger & Fries joints. Plenty to eat for the price.
The complimentary salsa and chips were unexpectedly tasty. Hint of heat without the bite. The service was timely even though it was very busy. The meals were also better than we expected from a chain style restaurant.
I tried this place on a Monday afternoon and ordered queso fundito. The cheese was okay, but the chorizo was terrible. It was weirdly bland and not good. For my entre, I chose two steak burritos covered in cheese, served with rice and beans. The...steak was bland. The flour tortillas for the burritos were stretchy and just not good. Overall not impressed with the place. The best thing I had was the salsa. It had more onions than most, but I like that.More
Completely ridiculous, ask for another container of salsa and they told me there would be a charge never heard such of a thing
Ordered a Fajita Taco Salad which was a favorite of mine at the Cancun restaurant before they closed. This was close to what Cancun had and will definitely order again. My fellow diners said the food was good and would be willing to come back...sometime. Our waiter was quick to get us water refills without being asked but was somewhat short (not in a mean way) with his conversations, like he didn't have time to interact with us/in a hurry. -1 dot for the chips & salsa they provide. It had a nice amount of bite/heat but way too much cilantro for me and gave it an off taste. Plus the chips were stale.More
We stopped here while on our way south. The staff was wonderful. Very clean and service was perfect as it can be with masks. My wife had a Durango and I had Juli’s o. Both were wonderful. We also had nachos, ut they were almost...big enough for the meal. They were super too. We’ll be backMore
Ate at this restaurant with a coworker. Due to COVID-19, protocols, hand written signs posted stated 1 hour limit for dining and 3 drink maximum. While the food was great, you feel rushed to eat due to eating and having the signs posted on the...doors. Would return, but not certain I really like being rushed to eat or enjoy a drink.More
this place wasn’t bad at all being that I came here from Texas. Fast friendly and efficient staff. Bilingual of course.
The place is not California, Santa Fe, or Tex Mex, but it is sustainable. We're in the middle of corn country and authentic Mexican is at a premium. This was reasonably good food and it satisfied my cravings. I think there might be a little...too much cumin in the salsa, but not bad overall and didn't appear to be out of a jar. The carne asada tacos were reasonable as well, lots of meat, good pico de gallo and a slice of avocado (nice touch). I got remember, Dorothy, I'm not in Kansas, enjoy what you can where you can.More
had supper with family here, this is a very good restaurant, the proportions are above average, the food is well prepared and most of all it is prepared as is asked for.
We had a great dinner here recently. Service was very good, portions were very large, the food was flavorful and the ambiance was very nice.
Food was bland and service was just okay. Ordered a number 5 lunch combo and received a number four. Told the server twice but he kept saying number four and sat in front of me. I gave up. My chicken enchiladas had a fill sliced...tomato inside which was weird. I pulled it out. Husband said his speedy Gonzales was bland. Won’t return.More
I was in Mason City visiting a sick relative at Mercy Medical. Las Palmas was very near where I was staying, so I stopped in for dinner. I sat at the bar, rather than take up a whole table at dinner time, and Johana was...very attentive and kind. I placed my order and was eating within minutes of sitting down. I told her I gauge my Mexican restaurants based on the quality of the refried beans, and theirs is silky smooth, and delicious as butter. Although I was dining alone, I was not lonely.More
