Ate breakfast hear with a coworker. Sever was very friendly. We each ordered the steak and eggs medium rare. Food was served quickly. Flavor was good but nothing special. Good place for a cheap basic breakfast.

Sunday is busy so we sat at the bar and ordered our food. Cheap and large portions. Biscuits and gravy were good but nothing fantastic. Basic flavor. Staff was friendly and moving well. Patrons were friendly and lots of locals like this place. We won't be back as there is better to have in the area (within 10 miles of... More

Came into town for a soccer match, wanted to eat some place local. Decided to try out this family diner. Very nice experience. Not overly greasy food which was surprising. My kids didn't complain about anything they ordered. I had biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. Very good! It's a small restaurant with plenty of staff to... More

Was happy to try this diner out when in Marshalltown for my annual visit....friendly attentive wait staff, and a good breadth of choices for breakfast....the burrito was excellent, ample, with spicy salsa. The veggie omelet was good but the mushrooms were canned...they could be skipped as the rest of the veggies were fresh. Lots of locals and regulars seem to... More

I had heard that this was the place for breakfast, but decided to try it for lunch. Just the typical food that you would expect in a roadside diner. Nothing great.

Went there for a Friday lunch, and the place was packed with a mix of locals that all seemed to know one another. I seated myself and was presented right away with a menu and ordered some coffee, which arrived quickly. There was a broad menu with typical diner fare plus some interesting daily specials, such as liver and onions... More

I was more than pleased to take my mother there to dine. She lives about a mile away from the diner. I had the Denver Omlet, hash browns, toast and milk. My mother had two eggs over medium, Bacon, toaster and coffee. We both had plenty to eat. We both couldn't finish what we ordered, it was delicious. The price... More
