Stopped by for a quick dinner between classes and was pleased with the wine and food choices. The tapas menu offers many options from meat to vegetarian. My server was attentive and also left me alone to read and enjoy my wine while I decided what to order. Good experience and would definitely return.

Excellent presentation and deliciousness. Authentic Spanish tapas and great wine and beer selection. We had the pulpo tapa and charred veggies, as well as a fantastic flan, rivaling anything I have eaten in Spain. Great service, lovely ambience. Highly recommended!

Lovely ambience. Waitress very pleasant. The French bread loaf is perfect and a very nice size for the price. The meatballs were great too, accompanied by a great sauce. Our waitperson apparently forgot our potatoes bravos order, and when we asked about it after we had finished the meatballs she said it was "coming up shortly." Would have been better... More

I am not sure what to say about this restaurant. It is an expensive restaurant trying to pose as a "simple roadside stop."

A tapas bar in Iowa...I definitely had a few reservations! But overall I was really impressed. I didn't care for the initial whiskey sour cocktail I tried, but when I switched to wine all was good. I tried the sirloin and scallops kebabs which were great. The baguette was good and the gambas were pretty good too. There was a... More

Last night I went to Devotay with my fiancée. We live in the area and have dined at many other local restaurants. However, the dining dissatisfaction of some friends had always steered us away from Devotay. I'm glad we neglected their advice last night. It was wonderful! The tapas menu was large enough to be diverse but not overwhelming. We... More

I was alone so just had the albondigas and Spanish tortilla tapas. And the red wine sangria, of course. All were terrific (especially the tortilla). Service is good too!

Always enjoy Devotay, Kurt has a unique style. Uses what is grown locally and very fresh. Unique food combinations and great wine pairings. Not fancy, lot's of hand crafted, "artsy' surroundings. Good food, reasonably priced!
