Excellent straightforward Japanese staples and beautifully prepared sushi and sashimi in a lovely blonde wood paneled space that will totally make you forget you're in a strip mall between a puppy-mill sourced chain pet store and a yoga studio. I'm more of a basic sashimi and maki guy, but they have all sorts of saucy-tempura-fruity-clever rolls on the menu as... More

Located in a strip mall, this modest little Japanese restaurant was recommended to us by a local. The waiter brings you hot hand towels before you order, which is a nice treat to freshen up. The Age tofu and the Dragon roll sushi were really good!

Excellent sushi and tempura. Presentation and freshness is what keeps me coming back. Always fresh! The ambiance and service is also of high quality.

Oyama offers some creative and delicious sushi rolls, as well as traditional Japanese offerings. The hand rolls were outstanding, as was the shrimp fried rice and udon. The waitstaff worked well as a team, and regularly topped off our beverages, and intuitively brought items we needed which really enhanced the dining experience. Oyama is a wonderful dining option in the... More

Ordered octopus salad and seaweed salad, both were good. Then came my "magic roll" and it was very disappointing, the spicy tuna in the middle was mushy and had a red color like ketchup, it did not taste good at all and I could not eat it. Told the waitress and she would not accept my complaint. Her argument was... More

We were on a long distance trip and found this gem. It is in a mall and undistinguished facade. We entered and they were very busy. A good sign! We had GREAT sushi and the fried ice cream and fried cheesecake were superb.

This lovely little place, found in the middle of a strip mall, served delicious, fresh sushi. Of note is the extremely large variety of house-made specialty rolls, which were flying off the counter to the people in the restaurant. My rainbow roll was lovely; however, they served only a little wasabi and ginger with it, so that I had to... More

I love the salmon hibachi and sometimes at lunch get the bento box salmon for more variety. The hot green tea is very nice and free. The staff is attentive and shows up at just the right moment.
