Stopped here as it was great restaurant when I was in PH.D. program to see that the Cottage as changed its focus to catering. The location makes it a good place for catering. Counter service person very friendly, talked about the Old Cottage that used to be the hot spot for students.

I love the cottage bakery! They have great pastries, and although i've never tried their sandwhiches, i've heard those are wonderful as well. The women that own and work at the Cottage are very friendly.

they abandoned their wonderful downtown digs, and now they live across from a jimmy john's. No one can bake real baguettes, but they try. Nice ooey gooey dessertie things. Buy a big old choc/mousse pie and rub it in grannie's face... that'll liven up the old broad.

Tasty pastry, cake, good coffee, nice folks. Sit and chat with a friend. Seems kid friendly.

Some of the best pastries, and cakes ever! And they have a great little room for hosting showers, or small parties.
