I treated my mom to lunch at her fav spot, Her Soup Kitchen. My mom has some dietary restrictions that are always pleasantly attended to. Food is fresh, delicious, and well-plated. Hours are limited but It's worth the effort!

Great soups and salads, never disappointed and love the cucumber water. It is a small place but food is out of this world! Because it is so busy, you may not be able to linger over lunch.

Easy to eat gluten free and dairy free with the cooks right there asking questions! Fresh ingredients. The food is consistently good! Comfy, casual atmosphere. The staff are always smiling and caring.

The sandwiches are very good, and I've tried almost all of them. Maybe the problem is that they are very good, because they don't have a huge selection so it is easy to have the same sandwich over and over again. I definitely recommend stopping by, but don't go to often.

Best soup and paninis I've ever had, served in a warm, friendly environment. Like having an amazing lunch catered to your best friend's kitchen table. Ingredients are fresh and delicious, and there's truly something for everyone, from a delicious take on a meatloaf sandwich, to a savory vegan stew. Local treasure!

We initially found on trip advisor and it is worth the drive off the expressway. Sandwiches have fresh bread and good ingredients to make them excellent. The soups are home made and salad ingredients were fresh and had multiple options for add ons to customize

Absolutely loved this place. Open kitchen. Simple. Order at counter and they bring you one of four or five different homemade soups daily. With salad or sandwich. I had meatloaf sandwich with spicy mayo and a bean soup. Ohhhh so good!!

My family and I enjoyed a lunch at this establishment...because it was winter break crowds were light. Soups, salads, and sandwiches were all very tasty and a nice option on a cold Iowa day. The food was extremely fresh and I really loved my pear-pesto sandwich. I would some it up by saying the ingredients are the star and are... More

Every time I drive across the country I feel like I'm in a food desert and every meal I eat makes me feel worse, so we were so thankful to have found this place!!!! My husband and I both got the cobb salad with a daily soup selection and my children split a sandwich and soup. Everything was fresh and... More

Get ready for a wonderful lunch. The food is tasty and fresh. Nothing generic or boring here! The soup was hot, meaty & full of fresh veggies. The owner was gracious and friendly. Looking forward to coming back!
