This place has excellent food with a variety of different things to choose from. Stella has the feel of an old time pub in England with the decor and interior look. You can also sit outside and enjoy the warm weather. They could use a...More
I had the tomato basil soup and it was delicious. Additionally I had the Cobb salad and my wife had a chicken sandwich. Both were average.
The service was outstanding and the atmosphere is outstanding. Good parking near the hospital and Kennick stadium.
Have eaten there twice in the last week and had super service. Food is outstanding and was a joy to sit on the patio, enjoying the beautiful weather. French fries "the best" I've ever eaten. Also, the employees are very friendly.
We have eaten here before and had both good food and service. We were initially seated inside, but asked to sit on the patio and the waitress was gracious and moved us. Though they were not busy, we waited longer than normal for our food....More
Friends lunch on the 4th of July. Heat index 100+ so we didn't sit outside, but next time I want to try the patio. They looked inviting.

They have a long list of specialty burgers and they are all amazing. I have tried several and don't have a favorite. They have outside seating in warm weather. They are reasonably priced as well. The buns are made local and are good too.
We ordered six meals from this establishment. We were hoping for delivery, but they are in the 90’s with that. When we parked to pick the meals up. There were big signs no smoking signs up ( No Smoking with-in 30 feet of the building)....More
Stopped in at Noon on a Monday and was seated within 2 minutes. The vibe is confusing; it’s mostly dark wood interior and somewhat classics decor but has a bunch of huge TVs playing sports, like they’re trying to be an old-school restaurant and Sparta...More
Great burgers are here and the fries are very good, also. They also have a decent selection of craft beers that are all brewed in Iowa. It's a small place, so you may have a short wait during peak times.
One of the best burger restaurants in Iowa city... I had a delicious cheeseburger with caramelized onions, tomato, pickles, lettuce and cheddar cheese... I love it!!! It is smooth with a lovely bun... Service is good... Very friendly staff... It is highly recommended
