We went with a group of 15. The place is beautiful, our waitress was delightful, and the food worth every bite. It was my daughter's fourteenth birthday, and instantly when we mentioned it, they asked "Vanilla or chocolate?" We didn't say anything more about it, and after dinner the waitress asked if it was ok to bring her cupcake! A... More

Only went once...we went during family week at the college when it was very busy. The food ended up being ok...but it took us a very long fine to get food as the seemed to have forgotten about our order. The were good about it and gave us a discount, but it still wasn't the best time, and I probably... More

Definitely a unique location at the corner of two sets of train tracks. Nice open layout and great hospitality. Our group of 5 ordered a few appetizer baskets and then ordered steaks. No complaints from any of us and the service was great!!! Prices were moderate, not out of line at all given how great the food and service was.... More

Wonderful atmosphere with great food, service with excellent prices! Something for everyone on the menu. Full bar with flat screen TV's away from the main dining room. If you lucky a train will pass by while you are dining for a little added touch.

They easily accommodated a party of 19 (with reservation ). The service was friendly. Plenty of room and a nice bar area. Food was okay (is a rib-eye steak in Iowa different - smaller and thinner - than east coast? ) Large menu with lots of choices should suit everyone's needs.

We started off slow, we waited about 15 minutes before they took our order. The hostess noticed this and made it right with a sincere apology and a free appetizer. The waitress was genuine and sorry for the wait. After we ordered, everything arrived in a timely fashion. my wife had Salmon and I had chicken fried steak. The salmon... More

18 of us met to do a Friday night dinner here. We requested the bar side, and got a great waiter. He was attentive, and knew the menu. Small kids' orders brought with our salads; great idea. Food was good, hot, and plates eye appealing. Prices reasonable- would recommend.

We haven't had any meal that wasn't awesome! The reason I couldn't give it an excellent rating was because it seems to be a pretty noisy place if you are wanting some place to go that is quiet.

On an impulse, I stopped in for dinner. Friday evening, but the service was very fast. Only downside was the ribs were a bit tougher than I prefer.
