We've just returned from a two week stay in Bolingey. Having a local, dog friendly pub was a factor location wise. We were not disappointed. Initial plan was to book for dinner a couple of nights per week however the quality (and quantity) of the food resulted in 8 visits. Dogs welcome in the bar area which has 3 tables... More

We have just spent a week nearby, and once we found this 17th century inn, we made sure we booked 7.30pm each night. Food was amazing, and service came with a smile. Look forward to visiting agin in the future. Superb.

Went for a meal at the Bolingey and had a great meal. Hubby had the Doombar Steak and Ale Pie with mash and I had the Fish Pie. Both meals were absolutely delicious and piping hot. Served with very nicely cooked fresh vegetables. Hubby couldn't manage a desert but I could and I had the Eton Mess which again was... More

Like so many eating an drinking places in Cornwall when the tourist season is upon them they don't have to try too hard to impress. This beautiful little village pub tucked away from the beaten track but within easy walking distance of the town could be a gold mine. The food was good but the surrounding inside had probably had... thankyou for your comment we are pleased you enjoyed the food, as for the toilets being rank it was pretty obvious that they were in the process of being renovated as the signs said. we are sorry for the disruption that we may have caused you. More

Foul language all evening from a woman seated in the bar. Totally drunk, sent a drink flying. When I suggested she should go home I was informed she was the land lady. Wish I'd opened a tab as I wouldn't have paid. Shame there's no zero star. Children present in adjoining room to hear this disgusting behaviour.

Early afternoon one June Monday, I dropped into the Bolingey Inn on a walk from the parish church of St. Piran where I had visited family graves. A short walk down Cocks Hill, with a left turn at the village crossroads. Because of the time of day, when I arrived it had only two other customers, remaining silently immersed in... More

This place manages to combine a Village Pub atmosphere with a Bistro style food service - perfect for our evening out with our Nephew and his girl friend. We talked , ate and drank and filled an evening with good fare and good company. The menu was varied and included FRESH fish and a vegetarian choice that was first class.... More
