No masks were worn by any employee, including those cooking, preparing & packing our carry-out order. No sign requesting masks either, although some customers wore masks. Peach pie was tasteless, seemed like it could have been apple pie from a fast food restaurant. Country fried...steak was soggy because mashed potatoes & gravy were just piled on top in the single carry-out container. I do not recommend this restaurant.More

I went on a Sunday and ad the chicken is only cooked as a special on Sunday, I thought I would try it. It was served hot and crispy, but it was also rubbery. I struggled through 3 pieces, (they give you 4) and took...the other home. It was much better the next day for breakfast.More

We have ate here a few times with catering in the basement with family-style meals served for our scouting meetings that are held here yearly. We decided to stop for lunch and see if ordering off the menu was just as good, and it was....The staff were friendly. The food was good. Price is reasonable. We all enjoyed our meals. We would recommend a stop here.More

Our adult family of four stopped here for lunch on the way to the Field of Dreams movie site. We were sat in the front dining room, which was spacious with the number of tables, but quiet despite the country music on the speakers --...you could easily eavesdrop on/contribute to most conversations happening in the room. Our waitress was terse and straight to the point -- transactional, not conversational. Our interactions were rapid-fire ordering, and did not feel conducive to our questioning of the menu. The menu itself had a few things to choose from, but the descriptions were nonexistant. You will have to ask if you want to know what's in any of the items on the menu, or how they're prepared. The same goes for your choice of sides. The waitress demanded our chosen sides, but we only saw fries on the menu. Not sure if this lack of elaboration is because the kitchen just throws in whatever they have per day, or they just want to save on printing. In any case, we ordered the Cobb salad, a burger with mushrooms and onions, and both the Cajun and chicken bacon ranch wraps. The food was good, traditional fare; but as a whole, not overly flavorful or complex. We had to go hunting for the bacon in both the Cobb salad and the chicken bacon wrap, and the other dishes likewise felt like they were also missing ingredients. The Cajun wrap was comprised of grilled chicken (the chicken/bacon wrap was breaded and fried) lettuce, and cheese, with their cajun sauce. Would loved to have seen some tomatoes, corn, peppers, etc. on either of the wraps. Overall, the Country Junction was good, but basic. Would love to have had "more" -- more of a written description of what was in these dishes, as well as a little more food/variety in the dishes.More

This place next to our hotel so walked over because outside looked very unique. Staff very friendly. Service prompt. Had just reopened from COVID shut down. Food was ok. Expected more "home-cooking". French toast too greasy.

Dining options in this small town are slim. This place had decent review so we gave it a try. It has small market that you can buy generally overpriced items like at Cracker Barrel. The food was ok but it didn't seem home cooked. Without...going into the kitchen asking the cooks I'd say the Chicken Fried Steak came from freezer, the gravy came from a can and the mashed potato came from a box. The waitress was pleasant and efficient. Actually too efficient since our food was out in 5 minutes and everything very hot on the whole plate. Lots of microwave beeping coming from the kitchen!More

We enjoyed every aspect of our meal. The pork tenderloin sandwich was fabulous, and this is the best cole slaw within a hundred miles (that's my guess). Friendly and comfortable atmosphere with good serice and reasonable prices.
