Our two take out orders were hardly edible. The garden salad with chicken was so bad we fed the extra dry chicken to our dog, who barely ate it. The meatball sandwich was more like a ground beef sandwich. Hopefully the pizza is much better than what we had.

One of those restuarants that you might drive unknowingly by because it's hard to tell if their open because the neon looks off due to dark windows. Ordered a pizza with my daughter after figuring out their seating arraignments. Main entrance takes u to self service which isn't notated anywhere. After talking to friendly staff found out there's self service... More

We had lunch here following a business meeting and it was great. Large and easy to find a table for 5. Another large room for larger party if needed. Good selection of food but we all went for the Taco Tuesday special which was a great value. 3 huge tacos! I couldn't even finish the 3rd. The spinach artichoke dip... More

I brought my teenage daughter and a friend to Dubuque for 3 days of business meetings. I remember eating at the Shot Tower many years ago and the pizza sandwiches were so good. Unfortunately, it appears that time hasn't been kind to this restaurant. The service was fine but the food was barely good. The girls had ribs which came... More

Food was quick, tasty and all the staff was friendly. Great prices and quick food delivery. This is a seat-yourself, order-at-the-counter style spot that's great for families with kids as well as adults out for a night. Pizza was awesome as was their fettuccini Alfredo!

Pizza tasted like a Jiffy crust mix. Salad greens were brown and wilty. No napkins on any tables. Seems like they were more concerned with deliveries instead of people dining in.

The waitress was very nice and helpful There were a couple of nice beers on tap that I was happy to try. However, the pizza was average at best.

Seems like everything changes but the Shot Tower Inn. I've been coming here since the 1980's. Love the food. great pizza and sandwiches. Plenty of other food, too. Try the pizza. Classy traditional pizza place that servers a lot more. Parking is easy. Good place.

Out of towners here, family of 7. Nice waitress, totally acceptable wait time for food, and the upstairs was a spacious, rustic area for our whole brood to hang out. Main level bartender didn't exactly go out of her way to be nice...appeared to tolerate me and was interested in talking to staff and one regular (I'm sure I looked... More

I honestly don't understand how this good an excellent review. If you don't care about good food, enjoy you're $10 frozen pizza. My boyfriend got spaghetti and meatballs w sautéed mushrooms. Well first the meatballs were gray, the "sautéed mushrooms " didn't only look but tasted like they just got dumped into the plate from a can. The only thing... More
