We had amazing food: shrimp tacos, gyro, chicken stripes, cheeseburger and kids corn dogs. Our grandson is a super picky eater, he cleaned his plate. Our daughter never eats all of her food, left just a few fries. Then we ordered the Mile High Ice Cream Cake, OMG!!! Amazing but it took all 5 of us to finish it. We... More

I wasn't very impressed. It was very expensive and the food selection was limited. The food was good, just wasn't stand out. Offered burgers, salads, wraps. Everything was over priced and I cannot get around that when I am feeding my children.

Great Cobb Salad, one of best in town. Excellent menu choices, often too difficult for my wife to choose. Tonight she added the messy sundae dessert, and it was delicious, first one I've shared in tears. Don't under the buy a beer forward for veterans, and no one understood or knows how the program works. As a veteran seems like... More

Champps offers many great meals and the food is very good. This isn't one of Dubuque's cheapest places to eat but it is one of the best. Highly recommend the salmon. Enjoy.

The food was very good as was the service. It is conveniently located next to the Best Western hotel. Definitely worth the stop for a evening dinner or drink.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Champps many times during my lengthy stay during seminary. My favorite is the Ahi Tuna Tacos! The burgers are also great and you certainly must have a large pretzel while you watch the game on one of the many tv's they have!

I recently made a Saturday afternoon reservation for our large group after college commencement ceremonies. When it was clear that the commencement was going to finish well beyond the scheduled time I called Champps fearing that we might have to cancel because we would arrive at least a half hour late on a busy Saturday. But they were very understanding... More

I always enjoyed eating here when in Dubuque. The food was always well prepared. The waiters and waitresses were friendly and attentive. It was an excellent place to catch a ball game while eating and the staff was very helpful in putting on a game that I was interested in upon request. When I stayed at the Best Western which... Description
The slightly irreverent attitude has become our calling card over the years, doing things the way we always have regardless of convention. We're still making fresh hand-crafted burgers, roasting our own turkey and chicken, slow-basting our falling-off-the-bone-tender ribs, and hiring the friendliest people to be part of our team. Why bother? Because bigger and better isn't just an attitude. It's a commitment to everyone who comes through our door. The party is still going strong today. The burgers are still huge, the beer is still cold and we're the best place to watch the game. No matter what part of the country you're in, you are sure to find a neighborhood Champps nearby
