I have been to this coffee shop a number of times and have been struck by the way I feel when I leave. Besides walking out with delicious coffee drinks, I leave feeling valued as a customer. The "old friend" treatment you get every time you visit keeps me coming back. They offer a full menu of coffee and tea drinks, smoothies, pastries, and sweets. They also have a lunch menu with soups, salads, and quiche. Drop in, you'll be glad you did.

We tried the one on Beaver Ave. for breakfast. Had Tanzanian peaberry coffee in a French press, which was outstanding. The food selection was not large if you aren't into carb loading. We opted for quiche which was fine and a packaged ham and cheese croissant warmed up in a microwave which was as appetizing as it sounds. They have a large coffee roaster in the back, not exactly on display, but not hidden either. Bottom line is the coffee is top notch, don't expect gourmet goodies to go with it.

Been there a few times for coffee drinks, chocolate shakes, and some sweet treats. The shakes are prepared and taste differently depending on how busy they are and who makes it...artistic liberty I guess. Sweet treats are quite average, shakes are good, coffee...well, it's hard to screw that up.

Super place to meet friends for lunch. No televisions, no loud music, just an atmosphere condusive to conversation. Quiche, sandwiches, soup, fresh fruit salads, nothing overwhelming.

Last week I arrived at Grounds for Celebration a bit early for a scheduled visit with a friend over a cup of delicious Papua New Guinea. The hungries were creeping in so I decided to try their new Budda Bowl featuring warm grains, broccoli, squash, lentils...amazing!

My favorite lunch at Grounds for Celebration, Windsor Heights, is their chicken salad on croissant with a side of fresh fruit. Add a glass of iced coffee now with this hot weather and you are set for the afternoon. Delicious

First off, the food selection is a bit limited and it is apparent that they prep their food early in the day, deciding how many of each item they will serve and if more people want that food item they are out of luck. An interesting concept, obviously the cafe part of the operation is more of an after thought. That is too bad, their food is really tasty. i ordered their version of a flat bread pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it.

My daughter and I stopped here while shopping at Beaverdale Books. I had a large mild but tasty coffee (which came in a very tall porcelain mug) and my daughter had a vanilla latte which she said was good. We shared a slice of yummy carrot cake which had perhaps a smidge too much frosting. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, comfortable and cozy. Nice little place. We will be back.

Tough to find a coffee place that serves quality coffee. This place hits the spot, clean, fast, and friendly service! I'm probably spoiled by Starbucks and six years in Europe but this place is worth the stop.

I've been here twice now, and it continues to be very middle of the road. The Flavor profiles of the coffee are decent, but the knowledge around them is seemingly non-existent. The service is quick and the employees are relatively courteous and friendly. The ambience is decent and it's a good choice to hang out, as the Starbucks that's roughly a half mile away is always jammed. Better knowledge of the coffee and the need to ask customers if they want to sample an unknown coffee is truly needed. Particularly if the employee has not tried the coffee or cannot accurately describe what the coffee is all about. (Region of origin, flavor profile, roast, etc) It's a coffee shop. Be experts in coffee! I'll return if I was driving by, but I would not go out of my way to return.

I like this place because they are quieter and local. Their coffee is not my favorite, but I like the scones a lot. I go their for the atmosphere to focus and do work, read, reflect, etc. It's also centrally located in Windsor Heights near the interstate. So meeting people there is just as easy as the starbucks nearby.
