F&O's (Felix and Oscar's) is a full service family style restaurant know for our Chicago Style deep dish pizza, thin crust pizza, sandwiches, appetizers, pasta & salads. Gluten Free options available. We offer an extensive Catering menu with much more than just pizza: Baked Potato Bar, Sandwich Wraps, Seafood, Salads, Taco Bar and more. 16 craft beers on tap. Our remodeled dining room is the perfect place for your next Business Meeting, Networking Group or Private Party with seating available for 130+. Our state of the art A/V, wifi, wireless mic and monitors mean that your presentation is easily visible from any seat. NO charge for the room, NO charge for the A/V and NO minimum charge for the food. We also have a smaller Private Party Room that can hold 30-35 people. Sunday Brunch Buffet served every Sunday from 9 - 1 pm. Join us for Friday Night Trivia with games played at 9 and 10 pm every Friday night.

It's an interesting restaurant with vibes of a sports bar and a pub with bar food and pizza. It's been open since 1975 and when the owner retired he sold it to one of his employees who worked for him since he was 14. It's my kind of place because I found out they make and cook their own roast beef every week andi more add spices to it to give it that Italian style and then thin slice it for their Italian dip sandwiches. I got the
ITALIAN BEEF DIP I was told it's Angus pride top round, kitchen seasoned with some spices put inside the beef and slow roasted in there kitchen, thinly sliced and topped with provolone cheese. The Au jus comes from the drippings from the roast beef $12 they have a lunch version and they also can give it a little Philly cheese steak style if you want grilled peppers and onions mushrooms queso and a little mozzarella. They also have grinders using slow cooked graziano sausage
They make a Chicago style deep dish pizza, and thin style as well.
They also offer lots of beer choices and have quite a variety. I had a slingshot dunkel from Iowa's coralville back pocket Brewery it was delicious.
They are family-friendly and also have private rooms for meetings or parties. It's also got TVs everywhere so if you're into football or baseball or games in general they'll have it on.
Also if you're a single person this is an a good place to go because they have a large bar area to sit down in. The bartender made me feel welcome let me try a little bit of any beer I wanted to try and made sure I got my food quickly it was hot and delicious.

When to watch the womens NCAA basketball tournament and eat and drink during the game. The beers on tap selection was excellent. And I have my new favorite Pizza!! Thin crust, chicken/bacon/ranch..

We came here for our niece's confirmation party. My sister had the taco bar ordered for everyone. The price for what was offered was great. It would have been good to know however that flour tortilla's were the only thing being used for the taco's and chips(fried or not). While the adults didn't mind to eat the flour tortillas none of the children liked them, and there wasn't any other option for them to eat. The staff was wonderful taking care of making sure there was plenty of food and drink.
The only other issue was the women's bathroom was out of paper towels, we informed the staff right away and this wasn't ever rectified the entire time we were there which was 2 1/2 hours.

I don't think this place advertises itself as "Home of the Pepper Jack Pizza", but it should! FIrst of all, the environment was extremely friendly and family-oriented where they have coloring pages & crayons for children who are waiting for their pizzas. Second, this place must be a popular hangout, because we were told to order our pizza BEFORE we showed up so that it was done in a timely manner. Third, the staff and manager (maybe owner) was so friendly they even agreed to take our group photo at the end of our meal. Fourth, the pizza! They make them in varying sizes from single-eater to group and with different crusts (even gluten-free) and their flavor combinations are unique. The Pepper Jack pizza (with lots of peppers on it) was out-of-this-world delicious: tangy, sweet, and cheesy! I don't live in Iowa, but I will always remember this place fondly.

I have been a loyal Felix and Oscar's fan for DECADES! I started going here in 1978. The food has stayed delicious for all of these years. They make a variety of crusts and use tick cut toppings. When I was younger I would amaze my family by eating a large thick crust on my own. If you go here you will find out just how hard that is! Whenever I am in town this is my first request. My family has even brought it out to Colorado for me. They will ship it in dry ice to you also! It's worth every penny!

Visited this place in Friday night. Food was great (pizza, wings, cheeseticks) and the right temperature. Nothing greasy. Pizza was perfect. Service was awesome. Must try.

Although most known for thier pizza, F&O makes amazing burgers! We gave the ultimate cheeseburger a try, and were extremely impressed!
If you're looking for take out, they have quite the order pick up operation. There's an entire team and station dedicated to phone and internet take out orders.

I was going to traveling to the Midwest on business specifically Iowa, and wanted to check out the pizza scene and was suggested this spot. I really enjoyed this place and the food. The service was amazing and it had a very family friendly atmosphere that was welcoming all around. I purchased the Chicago Style Deep dish meat pie and it was amazing. If your in Des Moines stop by.

This was our 1st visit. Staff was very friendly and great service. 3 of shared a large deep dish pizza. None of us liked it at all, didn't have a good flavor and way over loaded on top with sauce that didn't even have a good taste. Other person in our group ordered a hamburger and it looked and tasted burnt. Food overly priced. Very disappointed.

Friend wanted cheese bread and we found this place online. The staff was OK pleasant, but very slow. We had the suggested cocktail with blackberry brandy. It was like drinking corn syrup - WAY to sweet! The garlic cheese bread was really good! I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and my friend had a chicken, mushrooms, penne. They claim everything is homemade. Well, the pasta is not! For $17 I got two golf ball size meatballs with a weird texture. The marinara was bland; seriously Ragu would have been better, I had to get some Alfredo to cut the acidity of the tomato sauce. Friend's was those ingredients piled in a bowl. Her's was about $20. Don't go. I don't know how the He&! this place has been in business so long. BLEH!

I've had deep dish pizza all over Chicago and the delicious deep dish pies at F&O's are equally good if not better. Exceeded my expectations. You guys are AWESOME!

I have heard about this place for awhile and finally tried it. I had some pizza Chicago style which I liked. When I was in Chicago and only time before I had Chicago style pizza I didn't like it so it surprised me. I also had the adult mac and Cheese which was so good. I would go back for sure, and tell others to try it..

That's the small nasty grinder and western cheese topper. The nasty grinder has a really good spice to it. I get a light sweat on the forehead as I eat it. It's pretty spicy and a local favorite of mine. This place is a good local hangout or place to catch the game.

We opted to try a new place near the mall instead of a chain restaurant recently. We were so glad we did. The deep dish pizza was great here. I ordered a fajita burger with fries which was also tasty. We were glad they had a happy hour and good beers on tap. It felt more like a mom and pop type place, which was a welcome change. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because both our orders were slightly incorrect. I'm grateful they brought us a deep dish pizza instead of the thin crust we ordered, since it was so good. But my burger was wrong and I had to wait while they cooked a new one. By the time it got to the table, my husband was essentially done eating.
That being said, our total bill without tip was only $32, which seemed pretty reasonable considering we both ordered 22 oz beers as well. We will definitely be going back and will probably order pizza to go from this place in the future. WAY better than other pizza options in the area.
