Quaint and cozy with an excellent draught beer selection and British pub fare. Cassie was an excellent server. Will return when we are back in Des Moines.

I would say this is closer to a British Isles pub than several I have been to as far as food and decor goes. The food is good. The lighting is a little dark, but it's cozy not creepy dark. I have found it to be more of a restaurant than a bar. I love the Scotch Egg and also... More

My wife and I ventured to the Des Moines farmers market (really worth going!). The Royal Mile happens to be on one of the side streets and I have wanted to try it fir a while. We stopped in for breakfast. There was good and bad (but mostly good). Our waitress was adequate but seemed somewhat uninterested. I ordered a... More

Love the fish and chips but I mix things up and have them tempura batter chicken for me. It is better then any fried chicken in town. The appetizers are fun and tasty. Miss the miss matched seating but it is still warm and inviting.

Stopped in on a weeknight for an ale and supper. Great authentic food. (I think.) Lots of drafts to choose from. Great decor. Friendly waitstaff. I will be coming back!

I think I started talking with an accent while eating at the Royal Mile. It's a really cool place tucked into a side street. You'll swear your having a beer with your friend in London! The food is good and matches what you'll find in a good UK bar.

Popped in with my mother for an evening meal, ended up staying for three courses; what a fantastic venue! I really enjoyed the Fillet Steak and Mrs. A loved her soup. Thank you very much for letting the dog inside, was really appreciated, Langdon.

Great beer, tons to choose from and the knowledgeable staff will find a beer for everyone. Love the fish and chips here. Also the breakfast is awesome, best eggs benedict I've ever had!
