Best fish taco ever! Very cute restaurant. Cucumbers rock! Love you can color on the table and they post your drawings on the walls. Highly recommended artistic and fun!

Five of us enjoyed lunch here. The Reuben is delicious. The strawberry-key line pie superb. Friendly staff. A must visit when in Decorah Iowa

I picked up a sandwich to go. The Wapsie was good-really good cheese and pepper jelly with fresh turkey. I would stop again if in town. I'd like to go back and try their dinner menu-sounded very good with lots of fresh, home made ingredients.

Ordered the Beef Stew and was surprised the ingredients included kale and Bacon! Paleo diners dream ingredients. The waitress recommended the Gyro Burger so I went with it. I was pleased with the flavor but disappointed with the portion. The ciabatta bread was almost twice the size of the patty. Quickly overcame my disappointment by ordering the chocolate cake that... *****Always an Adventure ***** Delicious Homemade Soups that compliment whatever the Entrée might be for the evening, or combine with a sandwich for lunch. Lunch – Fish Taco cannot be beat! The Wapsie Sandwich is a close 2nd. Or maybe the Fish of the Day on a bed of salad greens? So hard to decide. Cucumber salad like Mom made.... More

Stopped in for carry-out. Sandwiches were all very good. Philly highly recommended. Excellent spot on Decorah's downtown.

Great little eatery in Decorah. Had a half-rack of ribs, and caprese tomatoes and cuke slices. Ribs had a smokey flavor but not overpowering the meat, which was falling off the bone. Ribs were sauced just right - enough you could taste it, but it didn't drown out the ribs. The tomatoes seemed not all that fresh, but the vinaigrette... More

Stopped for a quick lunch with my children and parents. The menu had enough variety to satisfy everyone's tastes. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The cucumber salad was obviously freshly made and very good.

I stopped here for a quick lunch, and had the fish chowder. Wow ! Tasty and home made. I just was not expecting such quality, tasty, and, yes, cheap food. As others have mentioned, there is much to do and see in Decorah. It is a shame that there is no commercial air service or nearby Amtrak - you need... More
