Great food!

We went to J Bar to try something new after hearing friends talk about their appetizers. We ordered jalapeno fondue that came with toasted pretzels. It was great. My husband and I both enjoyed out entrees and our server Maryah was fantastic. We decided we would definitely be back

Lovely hidden gem!

Wonderful hip spot surprisingly at a Holiday Inn! The food and bar selections were unique and creative. I had a smoked bbq flatbread that was divine and not greasy. My waiter Taylor was very nice and attentive without being intrusive. Perfect! I loved the outdoor patio seating.

Nice spot!

We were here for a drink and dinner. Atmosphere is very nice inside in fact, a little chilly for a hot summer day. Outside dining area is covered and very nice also. Chicken dinner with mashed potatoes was excellent and so is the service. We will be stopping here again

Don’t go. The room next to the bar was so cold. When I asked bartender if they could adjust the temp, it got a bit warmer, for about five minutes. Then the AC came back on full blast. Even with a heavy denim jacket, I shivered through 85 of 90 minutes. Service was spotty, at best. They weren’t busy, and mostly the server was standing around talking to a co-worker. Steak salad was terrible. The steak was less than average quality and burned. Too much dressing to enjoy the rest of the salad after removing the salad. This review coming from a primarily positive person.

J Bar Ups Its Game. Great Food/Drinks

Our new regular spot. Chefs and menu have transformed this place for the better. It used to be a place for cocktails and maybe an appetizer. Now the meals are great tasting and generous. Fried chicken sandwich and fries awesome. Steak salad is nice. Have not tried the pizzas. But the chefs are on their game. Check it out.

Annual trip to the Quad Cities

We come to the Quad Cities 1-2 times per year from out of town. We always visit the J Bar. Such a classy place! The cocktails are all amazing and the food is so delicious. The atmosphere is classy. The bartenders and wait staff are all so nice. Highly recommend!

I have tasted a lot of dishes there. All were awesome. The service is very good but food is better. You can request anything that is good.

Fake Bar catering to fake people.....

An exceedingly pretentious bar hoping to be taken as trendy and cutting edge. When boiled down it's a bar. It's a hotel lounge. It's just a bar in a Holiday Inn no less.

Great food and atmosphere

Came here on a Friday night for a late dinner after traveling all day. We were staying at the hotel so it was nice to have this restaurant on site. We were not disappointed. Had the flat bread with tomatoes, cheese, and balsamic vinegar and it was tasty. Shared the carrot cake and it was decadent. The iced tea was great as well. Great place!

High End Mixology And Food, At A Hotel, In The Quad Cities? You Betcha!

The J Bar is an amazing experience! From the awesome staff throughout the hotel and restaurant/bar to the beautifully maintained property, to the quality of the food and drink. Rooms at the hotel are well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The staff are always friendly, and super helpful. The restaurant provides delicious food at reasonable prices. And then, there's the bar. Austin and Pauline consistently serve incredible cocktails, are super-friendly, and very helpful. From old standards, to drink menu regulars, to on-the-spot inventions they've got you covered. Not sure what you want? No problem, they are more than happy to help guide you through a decision based on your preferences. It is fun to watch them create completely new drinks on-the-spot. The bar also has an excellent selection of local beers and standard brews, if cocktails aren't your thing. All of this at surprisingly reasonable prices considering the quality and experience you are receiving.

Knocked it out of the park again

Nice crowd, however seated right away. Great service, suggestions and timing. Started with yummy steak egg rolls and Mac and cheese. Had the 50-50 burger, half bacon half beef on brioche with aioli, side of sea salt french fries. Wine by the bottle selection was very nice.

Craft cocktails, amazing apps good enough for Top Chef and great staff make The J Bar a not-to-be-missed stop in Davenport! The only thing small about their Small Plates is the size of the dinnerware. Try everything! The drink menu is eclectic and filled with creative combinations that taste as good as they look! Can't decide? Ask the mixologist for a suggestion? With just a couple of questions, the expert behind the bar will come up with the perfect libation, just for you! Love, love, love this place. As a frequent traveler I've come to appreciate a great hotel bar and restaurant. The J Bar does not disappoint!

Best Food Around

I have severe food allergies, and the friendly staff immediately laid out my options and helped me find something delicious. I had the best mac and cheese of my life, with the highest quality ingredients and made fresh in-house. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The prices are reasonable too!
