I have been a fan of The Windrow for years as I used to live in Creston. Now I'm only back to visit a couple of times a year but always try to eat at The Windrow. The food is delicious and the employees are friendly. This visit included breakfast and the biscuits and gravy were exceptional! The Mexican Food... More

Sports bar with 5-6 televisions in half of the place, other half is family style restaurant. Great service along with tall beers on tap in the sportsbar section. Food is average and served in both places. They have daily specials and a great salad bar. I feel it's a little high on price but you are paying for an atmosphere... More

I visited The Windrow on Sunday the 5th. The place is clean and wait staff was very good. I ordered a Cheese Burger thinking that it was going to be a hand made patty but what I got was a previous frozen pre made patty that was a tasteless piece of crap. I will not be going back.

The cheesy beef sandwich and the cheese cake slice are to die for!!! The waitresses are friendly and very nice. It's a nice place to gather and have a good time with friends and family. It's a place where everyone cares.

Took family of 5 there while down visiting daughter. Went for lunch, cost us 67.00 for 5 burgers and fries. Terrible food. It tasted like those premade dense burgers you buy at Cosco or Sams Club in the stack. They didn't have flavor and dry. The fries tasted like fish. The waitress filled our tea glass with coke without even... More

The Windrow Restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat with friends. If you feel "sporty" choose the sports bar, if you want to visit quietly choose the front. The food is good, prices are moderate, and there is a senior menu if you don't want to eat enough to feed a family of four.

Regular average fare for a community restaurant - the quality of the food can be uneven, depending upon the day and who is in the kitchen, but most of the time its pretty good food with generous portions. Soup/salad bar has a good selection, its ok, nothing spectacular. We don't usually eat beef in restaurants so I've never had the... More

We frequent here often and enjoy their variety of food choices. The prices are pretty good (less than $10 for lunch and around $10-15 for supper) and the food tastes great! The menu has traditional options (sandwiches, steaks, salad bar, breakfast buffet, daily specials) and some unique dishes that the owners put together (Melissa's Chicken). I love the Hickory Chicken... More
