My brother introduced me to this place about 10 years ago when I visited my family in Omaha. Fantastic prime rib. The restaurant itself is outdated, but that’s part of its charm to me. We were just there again in March. I wish I lived...closer so I could go all the time.More

We arrived on a Saturday night just before 5pm. It was a snowy night, so we thought if we got there early, we could get in without a reservation. Luckily we got a table. It was our first time there, and they did not disappoint....The prices are little steep, but they are famous for their prime rib. You get unlimited soup, salad and homemade bread before your meal. We both ordered the prime rib. It was ham and bean soup, and it was delicious! The salad was nice and crisp also. The prime rib is a served on a bed of au ju. I ordered baked potatoes and my husband ordered hash rows. It was a great meal! We were in and out of the restaurant in about an hour. Definitely recommend if you have never been here to try it out.More

The appetizer braided cauliflower was awesome, light, crisp outside, tender inside The prime rib was delicious but even the smallest portion of 8 oz was too large and could easily be shared by two adults, specially with potato, soup and salad. The sauce with the...meat was the best i have tasted..More

She's an institution. And they serve one of the best prime ribs I've ever had. Fried chicken also solid.

Let me start by saying that I have been in the restaurant industry for over 20 years. The food was great when it finally arrived at the table at least a hour or so later. The owner or owners and the management should take a...look at the what is happening at what used to be a great restaurant . There was only one server and NO buser. My husband had eaten there years ago and telling me about how great the restaurant was. I was Not impressed.More

Ate with a group, food was very good. We were a large party and could have used two servers. Poor girl was over worked and service was slow, but she kept a very positive attitude. Good job.

My husband and I have been seeing the commercial on TV alot lately. Since prime rib happens to be one of his favorite meals, I thought we would give it a go. The waitress was very polite and attentive. The restaurant decor was very outdated....I will start by saying I wasn't impressed with the side options (all potato based or green beans: hash browns, baked potato, french fries). The salad was just iceberg lettuce from a bag you can purchase at any grocery store. The soup of the day was chicken noodle but it had a funky seafood broth scent and flavorless. 2 of my 3 boys had spaghetti and meatballs...the sauce was watery and thin. I had the pork chops, which looked very appealing but looks can be deceiving. There was more flavor from the char than the seasoning on the meat. My husband had the prime rib special and I quote "Although it came out looking amazing, the lack of flavor was astonishing. Even the au jus tasted like water. They ruined a very nice cut of prime rib. The only reason I ate this meal was because I don't believe in wasting money." Unlike my husband, I only had a few bites from different sides of my chop, just to ensure that there was no seasoning through the entire thing. Also, the closer I got to the center, the drier it got. I have already started discouraging co-workers that were once interested in eating there so they don't waste their money. I will never return to this establishment.More

The Pink Poodle has been one of my all time favorite haunts while traveling and cruising the nation on business and pleasure. The prime rib is one of their signature dishes, and another is the shrimp alfredo. Full of flavor, smooth and both selections awaken...the taste buds. I always, and I do accentuate ALWAYS - receive superior service, friendly banter from staff and fellow patrons. The Pink Poodle is my locations where therapeutic rest and a wonderful way to help unwind; whatever binds you, you leave it far behind Visiting and Dining here Highly recommended and most certaionly STRONGLY ENCOURAGED! You will not be sorry!More

This fine restaurant has been here for quite a few years. They have changed hands since when i lived up here, but are still serving great food. it is a very nice place to take kids, and is best to be hungry when you go. They...have a choice of steaks, prime rib, chicken, pork chops and fish. I had the prime rib and it was well seaoned and very tasty. With your meal you get soup, salad and bread. The place is casual dining. Not a fast food establishment. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. We will visit again.More

According to their website, they are open 12 to 8 pm on Sundays. They do open at 4:30 today, and if it was me I would give them a call and ask them if they are open on mother's day, their phone number is 712-545-3744. Hope... More
