I ate tonight at 615 PM I had the meatloaf it wasted worse I have ever had it was cold the mashed potatoes were so cold it wouldn't even start to melt the butter I suggest if they can't do any better they should close...it has steadily gotten worse in the past year my suggestion is to stay awayMore
Our booth was dirty. Cup rings on table and sugar granules at the bottom of creamer dish. I'm not usually too harsh but this was a disappointing visit. Besides the neglected booth, the food was very basic and not too great. It's better than going...hungry, I suppose.More
My cousin and i ate here very good and tasty love the steak very tender juicy def coming back soon well she had the steak i had the breakfast eggs bacon and toast
Super service...Kim is a great waitress with outstanding customer service skills. We were a party of 6 who ate at the Apple Barrel almost every day of which Kim was on duty by herself. She did not miss a Beatty in ensuring our orders were...right and we had everything. The food was excellent.More
food comes out hot as ordered, by pleasant waitress. quiet and relaxing atmosphere while i was here on a weekday mid morning just nothing that sends it above average, that would warrant another visit.
Quite possibly the worst food that I have ever been charged for in my entire life. The pancakes were completely tasteless and they even had fresh blueberries in them. The hashbrowns were some awful kind of thing that I had almost no flavor and smelled...like a dirty wet dog. I will say that the sausage links in the fried eggs were OK but it’s pretty hard to screw those up. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a -3More
my eyes saw, 'buffet', and I said OK, but that didn't last long. I'll give everyplace a chance, after all I'll eat almost anything. However, this was one of the worst buffets I have been to. The worst was Stevie B's in Jacksonville FL just...before they closed. In this case the flavor, or the lack of it was the problem. The biscuits were good, but the sausage gravy had no sausage and was pasty due to much flour. The eggs were instant. The breakfast link sausage hade no flavor. The breakfast potatoes were pale and flavorless. The worst thing though for someone who lives in the south, the fried chicken had no seasoning what so ever and tasted like it was cooked in old oil.More
This cafe shares a building with a Burger King and Subway plus its a gas station with a store. We wanted a sit down cafe with servers so we chose Apple Barrel. We had their daily special of spaghetti and meatballs. The salad/soup bar was...included with the lunch. Food, salad bar, service were perfect. Price was fine.More
Wow a perfect place to stop! Good food, great bathrooms and pie just like my mom use to make. This was a gasoline stop that turned into a lunch stop. The women's restroom is quite the surprise. Heated seat with bidet. It's only is in...the women's restroom. The Sapp brothers know how to make a girl feel special. We decided to eat during this stop and ate at the restaurant. The waitress was a little short at first but after a little bit she Loosened up was very enjoyable. My burger was delicious and the fries were quite tasty. She filled up my husbands coffee before we left and was very sweet. We got pie to go because we heard it was homemade I got coconut cream and my husband got pecan. We ate it about a hour later and wow it was wonderful. The crust was marvelous. Also, we bought a small loaf of banana bread and ate it the next day and it was delicious! We got a map of where the Sapp Brothers have other locations and we definitely will look for their other locations. On a side note we stopped again on the way home. I found a wallet in the restroom and was happy to return it to the owner. She and her family thanked me over and over.More
